Wishing I were back in Villa Star
Oh how I wish I were back in Villa Star! I need to book a date this spring for sure! We were so pleased with the upgrades in the unit that we rented- Villa Star- it will be our new home away from home for sure! The owners put such care into the upkeep and the design. Pure luxury! From start to finish the vacation was smooth and enjoyable. We travel a lot and this trip far surpassed the rest- we are sure to return soon! I highly recommend Marlene

Marlene and Al's Villa Star was exactly what we needed- the comfort and luxury of the villa, the proximity to the beach, we lacked for nothing! We loved being so close to the ocean and feel the ocean breezes in the villa. Your choice of decor was perfect for our home away from home. We were so comfortable in the villa. We did call your staff as needed and they were so attentive and meet all our requests. We didn't want to leave! We could have used one week solid just to enjoy the villa and another to venture out during the day... we did however venture out and visit several of the restaurants and places of interest that you suggested in the welcome packet you sent us prior to our trip. A holiday for us! We hope to get back before year end!
the best 3 weeks!
We rented Villa Star for 3 weeks and couldn't have asked for more luxury or relaxation. The Villa was immaculate and the items provided in the unit were exactly what we used. We enjoyed being just steps to the sea and near the pool as well. The suggestions you made for dining and excursions were spot on and we met great people along the way. We didn't have any issues other than our plane was delayed upon departure... but other than that, it was 3 weeks of BLISS! How soon can we book again? Am messaging now to check availability before year end. Would love to visit over the holidays!

We really loved our stay at the villa! It was perfect for us and our children. We really liked the cozyness and at the same time the luxury and convenience of the villa and the complex with the nice pool for our children. Marcella was really helpfull. The view on the ocean and St. Barth is beautifull. Thanks for all the tips, we really explored the island with its many beaches, nice places and restaurants. We would definitely love to come back one day.

Sweet place on a fabulous island
Thank you Marlene for a wonderful holiday adventure. The Villa Star was the perfect size for our group of three. The house had everything we needed. Marlene was quick to respond from the initial reservation till after the vacation. The house had fantastic views of the ocean and was also steps away from a private beach that probably has the best waves on the island. It is centrally located for easy access to the entire island. While we did not spend much time at the villa the complex had a nice pool also with great views and many nice neighbors. Look forward to returning as there is so much to do one can't possibly do it in one go!

Great for Young Families
We spent a week here in March, 2013. It worked out very well for us - we have 2 young children (6 and 4), and the apartment is ideal for a family our size. It was very quiet, and the kids loved the pool (which we had almost to ourselves). We rented a car (as everyone really should), and explored the entire island and its many beautiful beaches daily. We enjoyed having the east access to nearby Phillipsburg, as there are several good restaurants there. All in all, we'd recommend this trip/location/villa to anyone.
Villa Star
The Villa was clean & well maintained; the photos were very accurate of the Villa's appearance & amenities; the weather was great, the people of St. Maarten were pleasant & helpful. The only area of concern was the traffic which was heavy, the roads which were narrow & in poor condition and the lack of street signs - but once you become familiar with the island, traveling becomes easier. Driving at night is an adventure. The restaurants are on the expensive side but the food was excellent. Give yourself plenty of time to get to the airport and process through security when returning. We checked our luggage at the airport before returning our rental car and planned to get some lunch before returning to the airport but checking our luggage took so long we had to return the rental car and head directly back to the airport.
