AREA
This stunning 2800 sq ft custom southwestern home (with an additional 800 sq feet of covered patios - sun deck) is situated on 2.5 pristine acres in the Tucson Mountain foothills approximately 8 miles directly west of downtown Tucson, adjacent to the Gates Pass and 7 minutes from the JW Marriott resort community and golf club.
The majestic Tucson Mountain Park is perfect for biking, hiking or just relaxing and taking in the surrounding beauty. Enjoy the peaceful and quiet setting with incredible views while still maintaining a close proximity to shopping and great restaurants .
Golfers will be pleasantly surprised to find the Starr Pass ( JW Marriott ) golf course is only a 7 minute drive from the home as well as a wide variety of other courses 15 - 30 minutes away ,
Cyclists will enjoy the Gates Pass mountain area since it is a very popular place for spring cycle training . Most of the area’s roads have bike lanes and gorgeous saguaro studded views.

INTERIOR SPACES
After you walk through our front door . You will be amazed by the open great room with large picture windows , beamed ceilings, stone fireplace , and custom alder doors .
Any amateur or professional cook will feel inspired in the custom kitchen, complete with stocked spice cabinet, Calphalon cookware , 6 Burner range with 2 – 30” ovens . dishwashers , and 2 refrigerators .
The large master suite is beautifully appointed and includes a king bed, and wood burning fireplace , The master suite is located on a separate floor of the home to insure the utmost in privacy and views yet still has direct access to the covered patio, hot tub and swimming pool.
The master bath provides a walk-in shower with removable shower head , a 6 ft soaking tub and makeup counter .
OUTDOOR SPACES
While the home's interior is very comfortably furnished and equipped, Arizona life is all about the outdoors. Enjoy the exquisite Tucson weather year-round from the expansive outdoor living spaces including 3 patios, spa and heated swimming pool . ( Pool heat $300 wk )

Visitors will love these nearby attractions : The International wildlife museum 2 miles from the home , Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum 9 miles and Pima air and space museum less than 20 min .
With easy access to Interstate 10 , day trips to Tubac , San Xavier MIssion , Tombstone , Bisbee , Kartchner Caverns , Colossal Cave , Pima Air and Space Museum and Phoenix / Scottsdale couldn't be simpler . Very few rentals offer visitors such a prime location to see local attractions .
Pool heat is optional for $45 day , $25 propane tank for gas fire pit .

Best family vacation ever
The owner, Ron, was friendly and helpful. I can't imagine a better location; quiet, peaceful, and stunningly beautiful. The house is spacious and perfectly designed for a family. The youngsters in our group went to bed happy and exhausted every night after a day of swimming, hiking and sightseeing. Close to Saguaro Desert Museum, Nat'l Wildlife Museum, Old Tucson and great hikes. This home was excellent for our family and we hope to stay there again on our next trip to Tucson.

Tucson Gem
Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Great back porch complete with table and grill. Perfect for watching the kids play in the pool below, viewing the city lights in the evening, and drinking coffee while watching the humming birds, cardinals, bearded lizzards, quail, cottontail, and even a pair of foxes in the morning. The house is nicely furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. Overall a great vacation rental four our family.

Beautiful Views
This house is a bit off the beaten path. The house sits on a slope up in a canyon and has fantastic views from every window. There area also three porches if you want to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The pool is another asset. Topping it all off is Ron who is a great host.

Peaceful and perfect
This is our second time staying at Ron's house. It is a lovely large property, in the most beautiful surroundings. It has a pool , a hot tub and even a billiard table ! The master suite is lovely with a terrace and a balcony, the bed is very comfy and there are 3 other really good sized bedrooms . Ron is always on call should you need him. For the price this rental cannot be beaten ! Should we visit Tucson again, we will definitely stay here Thank you Ron once again for a wonderful stay .

Beautiful and peaceful
We very much enjoyed our stay at trails end. The property is gorgeous. The home is so comfortable we didn’t go out as much as we had planned. Very private setting in the mountains, but easy to get to, overlooking Tucson , Ron was a great host, showing us the house upon our arrival and he was very helpful when we called with more questions. We definitely would love to come back again.

Quality home in gorgeous setting
This is a large and a well appointed home that provides a high quality experience in a nice, quiet neighborhood. All rooms are well appointed, and the beds are very comfortable. We loved the layout and the views, and the fact that is so close to nice hiking trails and the International Wildlife museum. The owner is very responsive, and easy to work with. The only critique would be that some of the fittings and finishes are showing some age, and could use some maintenance. Overall, a lovely home and a good experience.

A great house in an excellent location
We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this house. The owner, Ron, was a fabulous host and easily reachable by text if we had questions. Paying extra to heat the pool was well worth it. The house is large, comfortable and private. We loved that it’s only 10 minutes from grocery stores and 15 minutes from downtown. It’s also very close to the Sonora Desert Museum and Old Tucson. Our son enjoyed the TV system and all the movies that are available. We’ll definitely book this house again if we get back to Tucson. Definitely try St Mary’s Mexican Food for take out—it’s about 15 min from the house and super delicious!
