Located on our 85 acre farm in sweet Hot Springs, North Carolina, The Poplar Cabin at Broadwing Farm Cabins, with its high ceilings and natural light, will give you the relaxing atmosphere you need to unwind and enjoy the view. A private, mineral water hot tub on the patio will help you unwind all the way, with just the starry sky above. The Poplar Cabin sleeps 6 with one private queen bedroom and 2 futons located in living areas. There is a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, AC, propane log fireplace, and free WiFi. Linens and towels are provided. There is a spacious deck on the front for watching sunsets and relaxing to the songs from the pond. The high ceiling and natural light together with the poplar paneling and pine floor give an airy, warm atmosphere.

Hot Springs, NC is located 35 miles NW of Asheville, NC and 70 miles E of Knoxville, TN. Broadwing Farm is less than one mile from downtown Hot Springs, high on a plateau with one of the most breathtaking views of the French Broad River Valley. The Poplar Cabin is one of three cabins on our 85 acre organic farm that our family has been tending since 1992. The naturally warm water at Broadwing Farm is drawn from a well deep below the valley and comes up at 85 degrees. We fill your private hot tub with only fresh warm water, setting the temperature control to 100 degrees. You may adjust the temperature to your liking upon arrival. The hot tub is outside. The tub and cabin are completely private and surrounded only by pine trees for a relaxing soak and stay under the stars.

We grow a variety of crops in a large garden and invite our guests to come pick fresh, organic vegetables during the growing season. We also have young UPick Blueberries for picking in July and August. Our guests are also welcome to enjoy fishing in our lovely farm pond.

Hot Springs is a beautiful rural community offering a wonderful opportunity for guests to experience the French Broad River, the Appalachian Trail (both of which run straight through town), gorgeous mountain views, and the all the atmosphere and history of a small mountain town.

Peace and quiet

The Poplar cabin is simply perfect. An exceptionally clean and neatly appointed interior cabin made for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and was enhanced by a delightful selection of vegetables from the farm. There is an excellent view of the mountains from the deck. Add to this a comfortable bed, a hot shower, great internet service and good access to local hiking. We enjoyed our stay at the Poplar cabin and plan to return again.

Wonderful place

Location was great. Brilliant view from the window. Cozy nice cabin, equipped with everything necessary. It was one of best rental we ever had. Excited of our vacation. Definitely we'll return, moreover because of almost continuous raining we didn't "try" hot tube with mineral water. Thx, Pete and Mary

A wonderful getaway

We had a wonderful time at Broadwing Farm. The views were spectacular, and nearby Hot Springs is quaint and lovely. We found our cabin comfortable, clean and well stocked - there were even fresh picked wildflowers on the table and eggs in the fridge when we arrived. The Pine Cabin has a beautiful view of the pond, and we loved the spiral staircase. Definitely call to visit the garden - we brought back fresh-picked green beans, potatoes, lettuce and herbs for a delicious grilled dinner. Pete even drew us a map for trail hiking from the back door! Looking at the stars from the hot tub on a cool evening will live up to your expectations. We will be back again!

Very neat place and town

Mountain Getaway

Perfect for the quick getaway.

We didn't have a lot of time to go on a long vacation, and I really needed to soak in some mineral water. I can't believe how relaxed I feel after only two nights. I could have stayed another day easy, but I was very fortunate to get those two nights. There is a reason these cabins are always booked. The jacuzzi is awesome...clean and private. We were able to pick from the gardens, and Mary and Pete are awesome. Thanks for the great stay!

Fantastic relaxation

Absolutely beautiful place. Super relaxing. We have been going to Hot Springs for almost 20 years. What a much better experience to be able to make the water hotter and unlimited access.
