Make our home. . . your home. Located 30 minutes from Lexington, KY. Stay on the 85 acre farm with the enjoyment of the changing panoramas. Experience the rustic beauty in our warm and inviting facility that appeals with irresistible and understated elegance. Our one-of-a-kind rooms that feature accommodations for 4-12 guests. Our Frontier Suite is a 2-story suite with the original spiral staircase, giving you a rustic feel to country living. This room offers a queen size bed upstairs and a sleep sofa in the 'sitting room' The original fireplace from the 1800's is enjoyed from both levels, and shares a bathroom. Our next suite is the Nesting Room, located on the first floor next to the kitchen. Having a bathroom next to it, 2 queen size beds and a full futon, it also has the ability to sleep 4-6 people. Our third suite is Ponder Place. This offers 2 queens size beds and a full size futon. Across from the room is a large bathroom that has 2 showers, 2 sinks and Jacuzzi tub. An expansive fully equipped kitchen for your cooking pleasures. Our spacious living room has a stone fireplace that was built from the river rock of the property. Enjoy all the natural wood features that has been used in the building of Jordan Hill Farm.
Outdoor amenities offer ponds, walking trails, and Jordan Springs. A picturesque and peaceful surrounding with a fire pit to have a perfect gathering for BBQ's and bonfires. Explore the property's beautiful meadows. Close to Lexington, and many historic sites, it is a perfect place to come and relax.
10 miles off of exit 90A on I-75, we're convenient to everywhere you want to go. Downtown Richmond, Lexington, Berea, Renfro Valley, Kentucky Horse Park and Keeneland Racetrack. Explore the antique shops and quaint boutiques nearby. We are 90 minutes from Louisville, easy to get to the derby and then come back to a real country style of enjoyment and relaxation. If you would like to bring your horse, boarding is available.
*Note: We are not a bed and breakfast. We are a site rental which also offers and accommodates family reunions, business meetings, parties or any special occasion.
We are thrilled to announce that we now have a personal executive chef available for a specially prepared meal for you and your family and friends. We do cater for all occasions also.

Seasonal rates for every year as of 8.1.15 looking at the 'Yearly Seasonal Rates' (months that are included) are $450.00 per night for up to 12 people. Prices subject to change.
There is an extra charge per person after 12 people of 36.50 per person with additional Sales tax of 7%
Dogs are considered: $75.00 per dog and is a one time fee. NO more than 2 dogs will be considered at one time. We do always want the dogs, bathed and nails clipped due to the hard wood floors. If you are leaving the property, you need to have a crate available to have the dogs in. We do not have a fenced in yard. You would want to consider also having the flea and tick treatment. We are out in the country.
We love animals though we have to be considerate of other guests coming to our property. Thank you for your understanding.

Jordan Hill Farm, Richmond, Kentucky, Vacation Home Rental
The home was one of the most comfortable and relaxing rentals where we have stayed. The home had the ability to house 4 families and allow for cooking and dining of the families while enjoying the beauty of rolling hills and valleys. The walking paths were safe and accessible for the young children in the families. A evening on the porch swing and night in the hot tub facilitated the family connections and communications which we were hoping for when planning. Above all, there were horses in the barn! (I love horses!) The historic home was transformed to a birthday celebration and dinner. The dinner was catered by JHF Catering LLC and the food was greater than requested and the serving environment was very professional. We had a wonderful evening of eating, laughing and visiting! The Vacation Home and owners were warm and accommodating. They fulfilled the dream which I have had for years! The vacation and dinner celebration were greater than a dream come true for me! A little piece of Heaven at Jordan Hill Farm
My husband and I, along with our daughter and her family stayed at Jordan Hill for a week. There were 6 of us and we were able to spread out and really enjoy our time in this beautiful, relaxing home. The minute we arrived, my granddaughter and grandson (11 year old twins) made their way to the horses. The horses are very sweet and the kids loved spending so much time with them and feeding them apples and carrots. Also, being able to watch the horses from inside the house was a real treat. Upon arrival, Joe was very welcoming, showing us around and giving us a tour of the kitchen. He was wonderful. We requested Chef Tim's services (Jordan Hill Catering) to cater a birthday dinner for my daughter and her husband who were both having birthdays. The dinner he provided for us was absolutely delicious and he set it up in high style in the dining room, very professionally done. Wow -- I sure wish he lived closer to us; we would be using his services all the time. What a treat! Some of the things that we loved: --The front porch swings -- we spent hours out there just enjoying the peace and quiet...awesome --The wonderful kitchen -- it is full of everything you could possibly need for cooking. My daughter and I love to cook, so this was a real treat. --The deck in the back of the home -- there are several patio tables and chairs, very comfortable, in a very serene environment --The fire pit in Jordan Springs -- Joyce and Joe even provided chairs and and set the fire logs up for us. --The abundant first breakfast provided for us -- Joyce provided enough food for our first breakfast that we were able to use it for several days. What a nice gesture and very much appreciated. --The scenery is awesome..85 acres of rolling hills and trails. Wow, we just soaked it in. --The hot tub which was well maintained...we enjoyed sitting out there on the deck in the evenings and overlooking the rolling hills. --Elliott and Rigley, the dogs -- the kids loved cuddling Joyce and Joe's dogs, and our dog fit right in with them. Thank you, again, Joyce and Joe for a wonderful week at Jordan Hill Farm. We look forward to coming back.

Jordan Hill Farm was hands down the most beautiful, serene and enjoyable property we have stayed at!
Joyce and Joe were so hospitable and lovely!! We felt right at home before we even got there! Everything we needed was there on the farm. From the scenery, to the hot tub, to the fire pit, to Cory and Elmer (their beautiful horses), to the time-kept nature of the gorgeous decor... It truly was our home away from home and we cannot wait to return every year!

Absolutely amazing!!!
We planned our first ever family reunion at Jordan Hill Farms. There were 14 of us and everyone raved at the house, the property, the relaxation, the chef's dinner ~ there was more than enough space for everyone to be together and also more than enough space for everyone to find a nook for some alone time. The front porch was a wonderful retreat on hot afternoons ~ we could sit in the porch swings and feel the warm breezes as we watched the hummingbirds dance to and fro. The hot tub as a nice retreat in the evenings. The kitchen was large and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The children LOVED the horses and Joyce went above and beyond in having a pony brought down for their riding pleasure. Joyce was super accommodating in all regards. We hope we're welcome back again as we'd certainly love to do this again in years to come!!!

Ideal in Every Way!
Great location! Great Home! Great Host! Jordan Hill Farm was perfect for us. We had a staff retreat (11 of us) and our Host Joyce was amazing. Joyce is a "sweetheart" of person who clearly pays attention to detail and has poured herself into what she does. The facility had all that what we needed and then some. We'll be coming back!

Jordan Hill Farm is exactly as it is shown! My husband and I had a family reunion with our 3 sons and their families in April 2019. Walking in the front door we immediately felt at home. The owner Joyce is so full of hospitality and kindness she made us feel so welcome. The house is the perfect combination of privacy for families and comfortable common areas inside and out for eating, playing games and private conversations. Our grandchildren loved feeding the horses every day and going on hikes. The kitchen is wonderful with everything we needed to cook or warm up and serve take out. The location is a combination of being in the country and also close to shopping. As I said, we had a family reunion but Jordan Hill Farms is perfect for so many venues-business groups, retreats, weddings- so many options. We would go back anytime and highly recommend Joyce and her lovely Jordan Hill Farms.

Joyce was a wonderful hostess. We were welcomed with smiles and hugs. We felt right at home from the moment we walked into her house. What is posted on the website is exactly what the property looks like....and more. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate during our visit, as we would have loved to walk the beautifully kept property.
