Some of my favorite stops:
- The Americana at Brand, shops, restaurants and entertainment, make sure to stop for Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt (walking distance, cross the Glendale Galleria) thru JC Penny / Also at the Glendale Galleria you’ll find a Super Target, very handy in case you run out of basic essentials during your stay.
- Glendale Center Theatre, small live theatre. Check out what they’re showing (website hidden) (could walk)
- Olvera Street. A historic monument in the oldest part of Los Angeles (Downtown LA. Souvenir shops, Mexican food restaurants)
- Griffith Park is a short drive away, it’s great for a nice picnic, walk, hike, bike ride, pony / train ride for kids. The LA Zoo and the Observatory / Planetarium is also at Griffith Park, as well as the Autry museum.

LA Area Vacation June 2019
Our family (2 adults/2 teens) stayed here for a week of vacation. We chose it as a home base to tour the area and the location was perfect. We were close to Warner Bros. Studio, Griffith Park, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. We also ventured out to Disneyland, Joshua Tree National Park, Malibu, and Santa Monica as day trips. It was a bonus to be right across the street from the Galleria mall and Americana. We walked here for dinner and shopping a couple times after long driving days when we didn't feel like getting back in the car. The apartment itself had everything we needed and it was a pleasant surprise to find so many basic supplies that we didn't have to purchase (dish soap, coffee filters, paper towels, salt/pepper etc.). Bertha was readily available though we didn't need anything or have any problems. The place was definitely clean, I only put 4 stars on that because the carpets are due for a shampoo. It was nice to have a private parking space inside the complex. Garage is tight but we did fine with a Jeep Cherokee we rented. I would recommend this VRBO for anyone from couples to families (there are stairs to get to the apartment as well as inside so keep that in mind if that happens to be an issue). The park next door is great if you have little ones. Overall a great experience and we would rent the same place if we come back to the area.

June 2029 Stay
My siblings and I were very happy with this property. It was clean and had everything you would need. One outstanding feature was its location - walking distance to shopping (the Galleria and Americana), especially the Target which was literally down the street - very easy to get all the supplies we needed. We also picked this location as it was close to where my brother and his family reside. While the condo came with one parking spot in the garage, we hardly used it as there was sufficient street parking. I would stay there again.

LA Wedding Celebration
Bertha's condos were perfect for our needs. We had a large family group in town for a wedding celebration, so we needed accommodations for 14 adults and a toddler. I needed the condos to be in close proximity of one another so this set up was perfect. Bertha was great to work with. The condos were clean and comfortable. Very close to Super Target, a mall and the Americana. Great restaurants--all within walking distance. Our toddler LOVED the park next door. Fire station across the street made everything feel very safe, but we didn't hear sirens at night. We would definitely stay there again--highly recommend!

King Bed a little stiff, but that is an opinion. Others obviously like a bed that way. Location is awesome, walking distance to great dining and short drive to attractions. Thanks Bertha for a great stay!
