Welcome to one of the first oceanfront and highest quality-built homes in Westport! Expansive views over the ocean await you from its two engineered wrap-around decks, perfect for watching fishing and crabbing vessels on the horizon or spotting a gray whale breach. This home is unique in that it offers three oceanfront bedrooms with patio doors leading out to their own private decks. Four full bathrooms and two water heaters provide ample hot showers and baths for a full house. Two separate eating spaces face the ocean and walls of windows on the front face of the house afford breathtaking views from all the main living areas. Bask under its towering wood-beamed ceilings, explore the railed second landings and widow’s walk, and enjoy its ornate stained glass, wood paneling, and solid oak floors. The wood throughout and the wood-burning fireplace give 401 Dune Crest a warm, rustic feeling.
401 Dune Crest is the closest house on South Beach to the prime surfing spot next to Westhaven Jetty and to Westport Light State Park, and a 1.3-mile, mostly paved path to the Jetty, Half Moon Bay, and the charming fishing town of Westport. Walk along the boardwalk of Westport Marina, the largest coastal marina in the Pacific Northwest. Gaze at the colorful fleet of fishing vessels and the sea lions at play in the marina or book your own ocean charter fishing trip. Tour Grays Harbor Lighthouse, the Westport Aquarium, and the Maritime Museum. Surfing, fishing, clamming, and beach-combing await you in your own backyard at 401 Dune Crest. Dogs are welcome with an additional nightly fee.
Additional amenities include a private hot tub, a treadmill, board games, books, movies, kites, and sand toys.
This rental is located on floor 2.
You must contact us to add more than one dog to the reservation, if allowed. $20 per dog, per night. If pets are allowed, the charge for the first dog will be included in the total cost listed.
Parking Notes: Eight cars in the driveway, and space for one vehicle in the garage.
Damage Waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee (“Management”), plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.)

Christmas at the beach
Had a wonderful time, views were outstanding, even the weather was great. The grandchildren directed a tree and we left it there for the next quests.

The only problem was the oven, did not heat up enough to cook the turkey, but we had brought a grill and problem was solved.

Christmas
We had a great time, the only problem was the oven, it does not heat up well, lucky we brought a grill, otherwise there would not have been turkey for dinner. Also the BBQ does not work and there was no propane. Otherwise we all had a wonderful time.
