We are a nicely appointed condo in the heart of Old Kona Town. We are across from the Hulie'e Palace and only a couple of hundred feet from the ocean. There are restaurants, galleries, Kona coffee houses and exotic shopping right out our doors.

The space
This beautiful condo was just fully and expertly remodeled and furnished. It is new inside with sophisticated Polynesian accents. We are in the heart of downtown Kona on the island of Hawaii or 'The Big Island'. We overlook the oldest church in Hawaii, Mokuaikaua Church, and the Hulihee Royal Palace in downtown Kona. We are steps away from the pier, restaurants and special activities. This is the heart of the old village of Kona, literally in the back yard of the Hulihee Palace.
We have one bedroom one bath with large lanai and a new kitchen, fully stocked with all the necessary dishes.
Although we are in the core and center of the town, we are quiet because of the church as our closest neighbor. We are on the quiet side of our building orientated toward the church grounds. We have covered and secured parking in a garage and elevators from the parking area. Cable, high-speed internet and a new washer/dryer is included. This is truly a wonderful property unique because of its setting.
Our building includes a wonderful pool and barbecue decks which overlook the busy Ali'i Drive and the Pacific Ocean. Step out of the parking garage and you are in the middle of our restaurant and shopping area.
Prices include Hawaii tax of 13.42%! This is important when comparing prices because many people add it onto the posted price.

We have a beautiful salt-water pool and fabulous rooftop lanais where our guests can have a barbeque and get a sun tan. Our main downtown area in Kona is right out our doors.
Other things to note
Only a city block from beautiful Kona Pier, the starting point for our triathlons and the world famous Ironman Triathlon Competition. Snorkeling in this bay is world-class. We require a 9 day booking for the Ironman week.

very clean and spacious
Edwards apartment is well located, and very clean and spacious. The morning sun is hot in the bedroom window, and the blackout curtains were helpful to reduce the heat and the light. Edward was able to arrange to replace a toaster that was not working within minutes which was great. Balcony is very pleasant and has insect screens which was great. Ceiling fans were good too.

This clean unit is in a quiet location that it very close to the waterfront as well as many shops and stores. It was comfortably furnished inside as well as on the lanai. Edward has stocked his place with many thoughtful items and was quick to respond to our questions. The underground garage parking was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The place was as advertised
The place was as advertised - clean and simple. The location is very convenient and walkable to a lot of places. The only thing that's a bit of a negative is that the building seems to have very poor sound insulation. You can hear the neighbors opening and closing doors, moving furniture, etc. The kitchen could be better equipped. For those who want to cook, it would be nice if the kitchen was stocked with some basic spices.

Edward was such a great host for us
Edward was such a great host for us! We only stayed with him one night. Our flight got in late, but he was still responsive when we messaged him. He was even willing to work with us on our check out time so we could enjoy our day in Kona without having to lug our bags around with us. The place was stylishly decorated, comfortable, impeccably clean and easy to access. Thank you Edward for a wonderful stay!

The access was simple
The access was simple, Edward always responded to texts and questions fast, and the area is right by the beach and a bunch of shops! Such a cool area with lots to do, right on the ocean. Will definitely be coming back!

This condo is nicely furnished and convenient to everything in town. Great amenities but walls are not insulated so you can hear neighbors. Door to exit unit is right across from other unit so you can't both leave at same time. The outside door sticks a bit. Great outdoor space and comfy bed.
