Description
A 3 minute walk down a tunnel of orange, red and yellow trees during foliage season brings you to a private neighborhood lake for Kayaking and hiking. You can so perfectly picture taking the canoe/raft into the lily pads near blueberry island. Please enjoy our Kayak, inner tubes and fishing to your hearts content. Our Cabin has a wrap around deck with a screened in porch perfect for grilling on those cool evenings. We have our ping pong table out on the deck and a variety of games to choose from (croquet) Our home is fully updated and tastefully decorated, with three bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and dining room, 1-1/2 bath, 3 TVs with netflix, games galore, books, music and and video library, beach chairs, binoculars, beach towels. Other amenities include washer, dryer, iron, stove, microwave, and small charcoal grill. Five minute drive to local restaurants, grocery store, picture perfect New England towns and other amenities. Leisure activities include foliage viewing, cycling, antiquing, wildlife viewing, scenic drives, bird watching, horseback riding, photography boating and sight seeing small towns that capture the beauty of rural New England. Peterborough, a short 15-20 minute drive is the mecca for antiques and restaurants. Mt Monadnock, is known for its presence in the writing of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau. It is the most prominent mountain peak between the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the Berkshires. It has long been known as one of the most frequently climbed mountains in the world. I've climbed this mountain and it surely is 'a little bit of heaven.'

Beautiful place
Such a great place - not sure pictures do it justice. The layout is amazing and makes it feel like even more space than there is. We enjoyed the porches and ping pong table - and my teenager (who didn’t want to come at all) spent hours on the lake kayaking and fishing and ended with “I could live here” and “I wish we could stay a week”. Those of you with teenagers know there is no higher praise or tougher customer. Thanks for a great stay!

Relaxing and peaceful getaway
Was in the area for a wedding and stayed here for a few days. Loved the peaceful and relaxing setting and the artistic decor in this beautiful home. Drank our coffee on the wrap around porch every morning listening to all the birds and caught some spectacular sunsets on the lake. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us!! 😊�

Great place for a family to gather
We all had a wonderful week here. The house is lovely and the lake is fantastic. The beach was not crowded at all and the water was clean and refreshing. We highly recommend this place for a vacation retreat. Thank you Kathy and jack!
