Description
This cottage is located in front of crystal clear spring fed Laurel Lake in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire and available for vacation rental from Memorial Day Weekend through the end of September. It is across the road from the town boat ramp, and 2 minutes’ walk from a public beach.
It has 2 side decks, 1 screen porch, and 1 front deck, where you can enjoy breath taking views of lake and sunsets. Enjoy cooking with the gas grill on the front deck. The house is furnished and can sleep five or six people comfortably. There is a fully equipped eat-in-kitchen, a living room with a smart TV connected to wifi and a DVD/video player, a master bedroom with 1 queen size bed, one open loft with 2 twin beds, a sunroom with 1 double size sleeper sofa, and one 3/4 bathroom.
Laurel Lake covers about 155 acres and has a maximum depth of about 49 feet. The lake contains Rainbow and Brown Trout, small mouth Bass as well as perch and a variety of other panfish. The quality of the water rates it among the top lakes in the state.
Included in the rental are not only furniture and kitchen utilities but also two kayaks, and one canoe.
Fitzwilliam is a historic town in the quiet corner of Southern New Hampshire. Mt Monadnock, Gap Mountain, Rhododendron State Park, and Cheshire Railroad Trail are all nearby. Both Keene and Peterborough are within 20 minutes’ drive, where you can enjoy antique shops, gift shops, gourmet restaurants, movies, and theaters. Nationwide chain stores, Target & Walmart are also 6 – 10 miles range for you to enjoy sales tax free shopping.
Please enjoy awesome hiking, excellent fishing, kayaking, swimming, boating, berry/apple picking, scenic drives, beautiful foliage, bird watching (bald eagles and lots of hummingbirds!), wildlife including many species of fish and butterflies, gorgeous flowers!

We have stayed 3 times. We couldn't be happier here. The lake, the porch, our vacations are exactly what we'd hope them to be.

Peaceful, Tranquil Weekend
Clean unit with such attention to detail. Very pleasant stay and my dogs loved the lake and new smells on their walks. The yellow lab enjoyed the screened in porch on the side, especially after his swim and not quite dry. Harumi was very pleasant and helpful in all of her communications. I was here for a family emergency situation and it was way too short a time. The stairs are rather steep for those with issues, but doable. If you stay here, I am sure you will enjoy your stay! The weather could have been somewhat better, but that is the doing of Dorian. I enjoyed my coffee on the deck while watching it get light out anyway. Thanks for having us!!!

Harumi and Bob have the most wonderful cottage on the lake. I enjoyed my time there so much I asked to stay an additional night, I really did not wish to leave. The cottage has every you need, all you need to do is sit back and relax. Looking forward to returning.
