Description
Mi Casita is a newly constructed one- bedroom Casita secure and privately situated under a giant fig tree with tropical gardens below on the tranquil north beach of Sayulita in an exclusive neighborhood of luxury Villas.
Mi Casita has a king size pillow top bed, classic Mexican tiled kitchen, a shower with an atrium garden and blue water/jungle views, sliding screened doors that open wide onto the tiled front patio with a hammock and a really nice view to the beach. There are ocean views from the living area and comfortable leather equipale chairs. It’s only two minutes down the private beach stone steps that curve down through the jungle garden to the gated beach. Mi Casita is a very quiet and peaceful retreat.
Mi Casita has air conditioning, fans, lovely lighting, locally made tropical wood furniture, tasteful art and décor, well equipped kitchen with dining bar, security safe, TV with VCR, Wi Fi.
Everything you will need to enjoy and relax in comfort is provided, fine linens, towels, beach towels, chairs, and umbrella.
Iris Cienfuego is the property manager and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. She can arrange for a driver with a large van and an airport pickup permit. The driver can meet you inside the airport holding a sign with your name on it. He speaks English and knows exactly where the house is. He has beer and water for you, and can stop at Walmart or the Mega store on the way and wait while you shop.
Mi Casita is a 10-15 minute walk to the lively center of Sayulita with it’s many varied shops and restaurants.
Mi Casita can be rented by itself or in combination with either of my two other individual homes, Casa Mariluna, a beautiful three bedroom Villa with a large pool, and/or Templito, a very popular charming two- bedroom house just below Mariluna, also with a pool. The property can be rented as individually and/or in combination as 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms or all three for a total of 6 bedrooms.

Quiet, well maintained, clean, ocean view and a great feel to the place
Not on the beach front, more like overlooking the beach but easy access to the beach via 60 or so steps to the ocean. Most difficult part was finding the house, but once there it was perfect. It was great to be able to walk to Sayulita along the beach ( about 15 minute leisurely walk on the sand). Cooking area was good, not a lot of pots and pans or utensils but almost enough to do some basic cooking. Staff was friendly. I'd recommend it. The ocean in the front was sandy but the crashing waves during our stay were challenging to most. So don't necessarily expect that you will simply be able to leisurely walk into into the ocean - it requires some bravery and swimming skills.

La Casita is a gem!
La Casita is the perfect spot in Sayulita to experience the beautiful beach, lush tropical gardens, and Mexican culture and style. The decor in La Casita is pure and traditional and it exceeded our expectations. The perfect spot on the North End. Helpful friendly staff. We are coming back soon!!
