ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. SHUTTLE SERVICE: Free Resort shuttle (Green Line and Old Town Line) runs approximately every 15-20 minutes during the ski day and evening. For night on-call or paratransit call the Resort Dispatch Office. Download the LIFTRIDER APP from the APP Store or GOOGLE PLAY to find your shuttle bus in real time.

2. PARKING: There is parking for 2 vehicles at Base Camp....one vehicle in the private attached garage and one vehicle in the driveway. If parking for more than 2 vehicles is needed, please contact us for additional parking options. There are pay-for-parking options at Winter Park Resort and free parking in the parking garage at Cooper Creek Square in downtown Winter Park.

3. GROCERY STORES: It is fairly easy to go grocery shopping. The free shuttle can get you to both of the grocery stores: Safeway in Fraser is about 5 miles away and Fireside Market is perhaps 2 miles away. Both are on the shuttle route. We do offer concierge services such as grocery shopping. Our staff can pick up your groceries and have them delivered and waiting for you in the properties when you arrive. There is a flat $75 shopping fee and 15% of the grocery bill for grocery shopping & delivery services.

4. RENTAL CAR, SHUTTLE or TRAIN?: We do get a fair number of people that either come up on the train or by the airport shuttle and others that drive up in a rental car. Many people rent a car in case they want to go see other points of interest in the area, like the tubing hills in Fraser , Rocky Mountain National Park, the Hot Springs in Hot Sulphur Springs or a quick trip to the casinos in Black Hawk. The free shuttle can get you to the grocery stores and tubing hills but you will need a taxi or a rental car to get to the Hot Spring or Black Hawk.

Beautiful, clean, great location

We were two families staying together at Base Camp. Plenty of space, beautifully appointed, clean. To ski in/out, you must walk about 100yards to the entrance to elevators next to Breeze ski rentals and go up to walkway that exits onto a ski run. To get back in, you must ski a fairly challenging blue. There is also frequent shuttle to and from winter Park Village and ski area, or you can drive about 1 minute to Winter Park Village/ski area. The La Collina restaurant is within walking distance from condo, and serves excellent food and cocktails, and is family friendly as well.

Fantastic

Excellent in every way! A beautiful place and very well appointed inside. The only small criticism is the pots and pans supplied. For a place that size, and the number of people likely staying there, kind of small and more importantly, pretty beat up. They could use replacing.

Best Location for a Gorgeous Home!

Perfect ski in/ski out location, but still secluded enough to feel like you're in a private home. This end unit is perfectly furnished and has enough space for everyone. The kitchen opens up into a large great room with plenty of seating for everyone. You still feel like you're together, even when you're in different spaces! We will definitely be staying again soon!

Always enjoy the base camp!!

Second stay at base camp and the accommodations are excellent. Convenient ski in/out to the mtn, good supplies in-house, great architecture, plenty of space to socialize with the group, but room to get away from everyone too. private hot tube is a must after a long day skiing. Now it is an annual thing! Judi makes the arrangements easy and painless.

2nd time just as good as the first

I stayed at this property 3 years ago and was impressed. My recent visit was just as nice. Owner has done a great job keeping the unit clean and updated. Management team is very helpful. We are picky global travelers and would stay here a 3rd time for sure.

Beautiful large house with room to spare.

We spent the first week of February at this property and lived it. There were 3 couples, two 1 yr olds and a 3 yr old but we never felt cramped. The babies slept in the downstairs bedroom in cribs that Judy arranged for us, along with 2 high chairs. The 3 couples slept upstairs (with 3 yr old) and had a monitor for babies. The linens and mattresses were clean and comfortable. The toiletries were a nice touch and plenty of bathrooms and space to spread out. The hot tub was clean and some towels were provided, as well as laundry and kitchen detergents. Trash disposal was easy as we dropped it off while on the way to get our skis at Breeze rental. The guys there were fabulous! We skied in and out for lunch every day although the beginner skier took the shuttle for 2days to get his courage up. There is a fairly steep pitch to drop off the trail for about 50 feet or you can walk down the stairs. The 3 yr old went tubing with her parents on the coca-cola hill, also within walking distance (15 min). They also walked into town to take her skating so everything was manageable. The kitchen was perfect as with 9 people (3 little ones), eating out was too much trouble. The pans were past their prime but great knives, flatware, dishes, glassware, etc. The biggest problem we had was the shuttle schedule. The only real grocery is in Frasier and takes awhile to get there. We actually paid a cashier to bring all the groceries back to Base Camp (with one of us along) while the others took the bus back. It probably isn't a problem if you have a car, but we couldn't rent anything large enough for us, car seats and luggage. Home James transportation did a good job for us with the shuttle round trip. Judy in the Winter Park access office answered all our questions before we rented and delivered on baby items and helped us get into the house when the original code didn't work. I'd highly recommend this house, especially if you have a car. However, even without a car, it's only 15 min walk to the village for dinner or home after apres ski in the evening.

WOW in a Winter Park Wonderland

Can't say enough great things about this gorgeous property! Our family was able to retreat to this peaceful cabin in between Winter Park skiing. Home was perfectly located, very easy to rent ski equipment within walking distance of the house. Shuttle to the slopes stops right in front of house (less than 5 min to slopes). This home offered multiple fireplaces and a hot tub to relax in after a chilly day on the slopes. The heated floors throughout the home made it very inviting. WP restaurants and shops were a couple of miles from the home so made it easy to enjoy both the charming town as well as the mountain. Judi was wonderful and very helpful throughout the booking process. Thanks for a dream vacation!!

Very nice!

It wasn't as ski in and out as I had anticipated. Very nice house but don't put early to bed people downstairs! Overall, we loved our time there and would return again.

Very nice, clean, and very well stocked kitchen!

The condo was very neat and clean when we arrived. No trouble with the front door lock at all (although we do have the same model at our home). We appreciated the large assortment of kitchen utenceles and spices. The ski in/our trail was a bit of a walk, but a good warm up before hitting the slopes.

It was great!

Judi was super helpful!

Great property! Enjoyed the stay.

Wonderful property that met every need and expectation. Would stay here again! Judi was wonderful to work with and very accommodating.

Winter Park Holiday

We really enjoyed this property during our ski vacation. It is a beautiful home in a great location.

Beautiful furnishings and very clean

Could use some serving trays/baskets for chips/crackers etc.

Beautiful well appointed home with great access to Winter Park!

This was the perfect location for our two families on a ski vacation. The home is beautiful and has all the amenities. Trail to slopes is a quick walk (even with skis, poles, snowboards etc.) Judi was available to help with all our questions and was a pleasure to deal with. We are looking forward to a return visit in the future!

Great place and great location!!!

Comfortable place, very clean. The location is a nice bike ride or walk to the village. Judi was very easy to get ahold of with the minor maintenance issues we had, the maintenance issues were taken care of immediately . Wonderful kitchen with modern amenities for cooking a full meal. Would definitely return!!!
