Description
The unique aspect of this chalet style mountain home is its beautiful serene and scenic location. The choice is yours whether you prefer to simply relax without a care in the natural quietude under the Continental Divide of the Rocky Mountains, or engage in the numerous mountain activities at your doorstep. The right combination of both is waiting for you. There are two bathrooms one of which is a half bath with a toilet and vanity sink. In addition to three bedrooms there is a loft with two queen size beds and two long couches which can sleep one person each. Sip your favorite refreshment in the large hot tub, while enjoying the mountain views all around you. A baby grand, drums and guitar are included for the musically inclined. A large fireplace will keep you toasty in the winter, and gentle mountain breezes will keep you comfortable in the summer. There is a large living room ceiling fan and a circulating air fan from the furnace There is no need for superficial air conditioning since mother nature provides it all.
While the city of Boulder is accessible in twenty minutes for the normal amenities such as dining, theater, music, sightseeing, and shopping, - - - the town of Nederland is only ten minutes away for satisfying basic needs. Sugarloaf Mountain Rd, which will bring you to the house, is maintained year round for safe access and driving. (By the way, the route that Mapquest type programs often designate for you is actually twice as long as the local route.) Directions for the local route are included in the Registration materials you will receive.
Ski resorts are within ten to ninety minutes away. Mountain Lakes, fishing, hunting and camping are just minutes away. Be it summer or winter activities, this site offers it all.
Small special occasion 'events' like birthday parties, showers, weddings may be held here with the owners approval only. Contact owner for rates and info.

There are two outside dog runs with sheds. The rate for using them is $15/dog/nt. Otherwise pets are not allowed in the house.

Great cabin!
All of us loved our stay in the cabin. Beautiful area....Great hot tub. Close to town! We were 9 friends and it was very spacious and comfortable. It is a beautiful place. We all strongly recommend this place.

This house is so unique and our group loved it! We love the hot tub, the piano and the drum set. The kids regularly broke out into jam sessions. :) Larry was super responsive and a wonderful host.

Great mountain escape!
The house was exactly as described and a great place to relax. My daughter and I enjoyed the beautiful views from the wrap around deck along with the hummingbirds. The house is well maintained and Larry left great instructions on how to use everything. Looking forward to stay again.

Colorado Wonder
My family and I had an amazing visit to this home. The views were beyond belief and the interior was both comfortable and cozy. The bedrooms and bathrooms were set up quite nicely and appliances were all exceptional. I would return again and again! The Hot tub was so much fun for all of us, a nice soothing soak after a long day in Estes Park made my night! We had some fun with the musical instruments and really enjoyed our time in the Mountains!

Great mountain retreat 30 minutes outside of Boulder
This is a beautiful mountain cabin about 30 minutes outside of Boulder. Clean and well-stocked with everything you'd need to make a home of the place. Fireplace and hot tub were great features; I spent a couple of nights having a soak while looking up at a beautiful blanket of stars. The owner is a really nice guy and responsive whenever I had a question. Would love to stay there again!
