Villa Leonardo has been carefully prepared to have your whole family relaxed and in vacation mode as soon as you walk in the door. Beautiful landscaping sets the stage for a perfectly laid out floor plan set up with everything you need for a great vacation for even the largest group. With plenty of space for everyone and a sunny southern exposure pool & lanai & boat dock, you’re sure to quickly leave your regular worries in the past. Think of it as your own private tropical resort.

The house is fully air-conditioned and features large rooms, a well-equipped granite countertop kitchen, and whole house sound and wireless internet access. 6 HD LCD TV’s, media players, and several Internet-connected Blu-Ray / DVD players throughout the home means there is always entertainment available, if desired. You’ll find most of your time will be spent hanging around the comfortable lanai and pool area that is directly accessible from the main house and from 2 of the bedrooms. There is plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the pool/lanai area, a large 14’ x 26’ heated pool, and a top-rated Weber BBQ gas grill to cook up your favorite steak or fish. Later in the day, you’ll find yourself marveling at the evening sky, enjoying your favorite beverage, and wondering if you’ll really be able to leave this paradise once the vacation is over.
The dock has TWO boat lifts so you can have your (owned or rented) boat easily accessible and you can invite your friends over with their boat as well. With direct gulf access in your backyard, you will be within easy reach of local beaches and watering holes on Sanibel Island, Ft. Myers Beach, Pine Island, Captiva, Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa, etc.
The kitchen has provisions to make meal preparation a snap and your meals can be served in the dining room, the kitchen bar area, the pool area sitting table (with a convenient pass through window from the kitchen to the pool area) or all three. A multi-source, multi-zone music system allows you to listen to different music in different areas of the house – or sync them all together to pipe your favorite tunes everywhere you go. The family room will be a favorite gathering spot with nap-inducing, super comfortable sofa, love seat, and chair. A large HD LCD TV in the center of the entertainment center will provide great viewing of a rented movie, the big game, Airplay-sourced pictures of your vacation, or your favorite TV show.
When the day is done, you’ll find 4 very comfortable bedrooms that will allow you to rest and recharge, as needed. The master suite, separated on one side of the house for privacy, provides spacious living area, king-sized bed, LCD HD TV, a personal music system, a desk area (if you have last minute work-related things to attend to), his and her walk-in closets, and a large walk-in tiled shower stall, and direct access to the pool area. The other 3 bedrooms are located on the other side of the house. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, cable-equipped HD TV, walk-in closet, and direct access to the pool. Bedrooms 3 & 4 have a queen bed and a twin bed, Blu-ray player equipped flat screen HD TVs, and walk-in closets.

The home is set up with exterior security cameras pointed at key entry points include the front door and the pool enclosure entry doors. There are no cameras in the home. The cameras are set up to minimize any intrusion on privacy of the guest staying at the house and are meant to deter any criminal entry into the house. Contact the owner if this is a concern.

In Florida for our daughters wedding.This rental was everything it promised. The family was all comfortable and we even entertained the new in-laws! The grandchildren had never been in a pool and they were learning how to swim( with swimmies) and Loving it. Such a great experience. We would definitely recommend and if in the neighborhood we would come here again.

Beautiful home, very clean and well equipped with all the necesssities.
We loved the heated pool, the temperature never dipped below 80. The house setting on the canal was very peaceful and tranquil. My only complaint was not with the house but with the areas traffic, which you can't control. It was a great winter escape for us. Phil & Roe Cuccia

Great stay and wonderful house
I first want to start off by saying thank you to Dan for all of his fast replies and great communication. The house was very nice, open and just as described online. We had a group of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids) and there was pleanty of room for everyone. Check in process was simple and easy with all the info Dan sent us. Neighborhood was quiet and since your at the end of a canal you don't have a lot of boat traffic if you want to sit on the dock and relax. House location was very convenient to 7-11 convenient/gas station and Publix grocery stores all really close. As far as convenience to a beach that is about a 20-30 minute drive depending on which one you go to. We rented a boat and used the dock and lifts which both were in great shape. Just keep in mind it takes about 15-20 minutes to get out to the river due to idle speed/no wake in the canals. House was clean when we got there right at 3pm. We did have some issues with dirty dishes due to the dishwasher not functioning correctly and trash under the beds but that is not a huge deal. We let Dan know about the dishwasher and he was going to have it looked at. We only had one issue which was not resolved and that was the pool. It was cloudy the entire length of our stay. Dan did have the pool company out 3 times to try and resolve the issue but they could not get the water clear. If we are back in Cape Coral we will definitely rent again in the future. This house was amazing and everything we wanted! Beautiful and spacious inside and outside! Relaxing atmosphere! As soon as we walked in we immediately felt relaxed and at home!
