NOTE: The SunBird Golf Resort is an Active Adult community. At least one guest must be 55 years of age or older, and all guests must be 19 years or older. In an effort to maintain the quality of the community and ensure the safety and security of the neighbors, the SunBird HOA limits rentals to a minimum of 30 nights. The HOA also prohibits any person classified as a Level Three or Level Two sex offender from staying in SunBird.
Our beautiful vacation retreat is located in the SunBird Golf Resort in south Chandler, and you will have access to all the amenities of the Active Adult (age 55+) gated resort community. The charming little house is newly renovated with new exterior paint, expanded covered patio and dual pane low-e windows throughout. The home is fully furnished and equipped with everything except your clothes and golf clubs. We even provide a toothbrush in case you forgot your own. The kitchen has a glass-top electric range, built-in microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice-maker and a pantry. We provide all the basic cookware, plates, glasses, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, crock-pot, as well as towels and bed linens and stacked washer/dryer. The cozy living room has 2 La-Z-Boy recliners, a sofa with reclining seats at either end, a 54-inch 4K TV. The master bedroom has a memory foam queen bed, bureau, 32-inch smart HDTV, large walk-in closet, en-suite bath with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, high-boy dresser and walk-in closet. The guest bathroom has a shower over the tub. The patio on the east side of the house has a BBQ, dining table and chairs, and is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, afternoon beverages and outdoor dining. There is a chaise lounge for soaking up the sun. The carport accommodates a car and a golf cart. There is a small storage area for luggage, etc. We pay all utilities, including electricity, local TV channels, NetFlix and Amazon Fire Stick, and we provide secured wireless hi-speed Internet service. (If you have Dish Network service at home, you can bring your set-top box with you because we have a dish pointed at the satellite.) The streets of SunBird are perfect for jogging, walking, bike riding. One of the 2 SunBird heated swimming pools is only a block from our house. The on-site Post Office and the Clubhouse with everything it has to offer are within a very short distance. In addition to the golf course, the resort includes tennis, shuffle board, horseshoes, bocci ball, pickleball, basketball facilities, as well as a fully-equipped fitness center, billiard tables and a library. Check out the SunBird HOA website for the list of activities that can keep you from being bored on your vacation. There are 3 grocery stores within 3 miles of SunBird. Travel 8 miles to Downtown Chandler and 13 miles to the Chandler Fashion Center. Plan for day trips to all Tucson, Flagstaff, the various lakes and historic and cultural destinations that are within easy traveling distance from SunBird. High temperatures in the winter months range from the mid-60s to 80s, and low temperatures generally range in the 40s. There may be an occasional rain shower, but you certainly will not need a snow shovel!

NOTE: Stays of 30 days or longer are subject to 1.5% sales tax; shorter-term stays are taxed at 11.67%. VRBO refuses to add the 2-tier tax system and only shows the higher rate. I will adjust it accordingly when you book. I am so sorry for the inconvenience!!

Patti & Barry are awesome!
Their property is fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We were impressed with how well the unit is organized. My wife and I simply unpacked our bags and made ourselves at home. The listing was accurate in all areas (layout, location, amenities) and the place was spotless! Great Place To Relax and enjoy the Arizona Sunshine
Wonderful accommodation as always. Super clean and fully equipped for a great stay. Really comfortable beds, sofa and recliners, Lovely kitchen with all the gadgets - nothing missing. TV with Netflix is a real bonus when you need to relax. Little rear patio is not overlooked and is a real gem if you want to relax in the shade. Owners Patti and Barry are very attentive and took us out to some great Blues Bars in Chandler and Phoenix. Close to shops and restaurants. Small heated pool just a few hundred feet from the villa and the big pool and Clubhouse just five minutes walk. Very quiet location. Could not want for a better place to stay.

Comfortable, Quiet & Awesome
Patti and Barry are wonderful hosts. They were always available to answer our questions and made us feel very welcome. Their home is clean and fully equipped with everything you will need. Relaxing Getaway
My husband and I spent two weeks in this cozy home. We enjoyed the workout center, Sunday morning church service, and brunch in the Horizon Cafe. It is very close to shopping and the sites around Chandler. It is a great place to stay—very well equipped with all you need for an enjoyable stay. We have stayed here in the past and would love to return.

Perfect stay
This 2 bedroom/2bathroom home was perfect for our 7 night stay. It was not too big and not too small. We were so busy meeting friends that we didn’t get to utilize the kitchen for meals other than quick breakfasts like toast but it sure helped having a fridge for our drinks and snacks. Patty was amazing and we would totally stay here again and recommend this home.

SUNBIRD VACATION
This was the first time I’ve ever rented a vacation rental, so I have nothing to compare it to. All I can say is it has been a wonderful experience. The owners have been very friendly and accommodating. Everything we could have needed was already here. The only thing we had to purchase was our food. The house was spotless and everything worked as expected. Thanks so much to Patti and her husband for a wonderful vacation. My other granddaughter will graduate next year, and I hope we will be able to rent this home again.
