This beautiful beachfront 2bd/2ba home offers multiple areas to relax quietly in your own private space or to hang out in comfort with your friends and family in the living area. The Master bedroom has air conditioning and a beautiful private bathroom. The rest of the house has an open air floor plan with ceiling fans in every room and good air circulation. The large, comfortable living room has a full size day bed for relaxing and napping, a large couch and a large dining table so it's easy for friends and family to be together while playing in the pool, hanging out on the deck, reading, eating or whatever your vacation calls for. The home is equipped with a full kitchen, linens, private carport and private pool and is located on a small beach cove. There are a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance along with options for yoga, surf instruction, bike rentals, ocean kayaking, birding, etc. in and around central Troncones. Fishing boats can be hired just around the bend in Majahua, a 3 minute walk. Horses will come pick you up at the house and guide you along the beach and into the coconut farms and local villages. There are two nearby surf breaks in addition to even more breaks a short drive aways. There is another house on the property, Alma de Mar. Roberto and Eli are the caretakers for both homes. They come daily (except Sunday) to tend to the property and help you with whatever you may need. They are very happy to make arrangements and/or help you find bikes, surfboard rentals, fishing trips etc. OR, you can simply have a real vacation by staying close to home and truly relaxing. Internet is available but can sometimes be intermittent so you must be prepared to disconnect, if only for short periods at a time. There is also a landline available but there is no TV.

So peacuful
Our family adored Casa Cala Linda. Kids loved the pool and the house is beautiful and well furnished. The small town nearby has excellent Mexican restaurants and convenience stores with all the essentials. The caretakers Eli and Roberto cleaned daily and for a reasonable price Eli even cooked a couple meals for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Great little property in a spectacular location
This was the perfect choice for our family of 4 on our 10 day stay in Troncones. Property is well kept and caretakers Eli and Roberto ensure it stays that way. We did it all during our stay and this was a great home base to operate from. It is close to the neighbors on both sides, so if you get unlucky with who is there or any construction is going on it might be a bit inconvenient. The location makes up for this with direct access to a small sandy beach that you may or may not see anyone else on for an entire day. *I say all this, but you need to remember you are in a small village in Mexico, not the Four Seasons Kauai* We encountered several power outages, a water outage, and some uninvited rodent guests. This type of getaway isn't for everyone, but perfect for our family!
