Description
Nestled in Western Kentucky, on the banks of Lake Barkley and across from Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, is a luxurious yet rustic lake home known as Sunrise Serenity.
This beautiful, newly-finished, light-filled lake house is amazingly decorated with top-of-the-line construction and high-end furnishings and appliances. It’s perfect for those with large families or those just wanting a little extra space, elegance, and comfort.
A level, concrete driveway, with ample storage for vehicles or a boat trailer, leads you to the main level, stone entry with a rustic, tongue-and-groove, spruce ceiling and wall of lake view windows.
A large, open living space, featuring a stone fireplace with 50' LED TV and BluRay, adjoins a fabulous kitchen with an 8-foot island and seating for five. The dining room is open to the lake views and comfortably seats six, while the breakfast area seats four and is perfect for your morning coffee. Deck access is provided in two areas of the great room by bi-fold sliding doors.
The large master bedroom on the main level features a wall of windows showcasing Lake Barkley. Top-of-the-line king mattresses, duvet bedding and a 40' LCD TV welcomes guests. The master bathroom includes a large soaker tub, separate shower, double vanity, walk-in closet, and deck access.
The two spacious second and third bedrooms on the main level have queen beds with duvets, 40' LCD TVs, and a shared full bathroom with two sinks. The hallway is closed from the main living area by hidden pocket doors for additional privacy. All main level bedrooms and the main living area have ceiling fans.
The deck on the main level provides abundant lake views and is wired for speakers. It includes lighting, an outdoor gas grill, and comfortable outdoor seating. The one-acre lot is landscaped with a gentle slope to the water and private dock. A concrete paved path leads you to the dock on a gentle slope accessible by all ages. An attached garage provides storage for your outdoor activity equipment.
The large, living space on the lower level, complete with a walkout wall of windows to the backyard, includes a 15-foot bar with refrigerator, pool table, card table, leather sectional, 55' LCD TV, and Xbox, providing a great place to hang out and relax.
The remaining three of six bedrooms is located on the lower level. The fourth bedroom with two full beds and the fifth bedroom with two full/twin bunk combos share a bath. Each bedroom has a 40' LCD TV. The sixth bedroom includes a queen bed with duvet, 40' LCD TV, and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
The lower level also includes an HE washer and dryer for guest use.

Enjoyable Lake stay
We took our annual family lake trip, and stayed at this property. We had plenty of space for all 15 of us varying in age. The house was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked. The only negative was I would have preferred a little bigger dock, for people to sit. The large yard was perfect for the kids to play, and the access to the lake was easy with small children.

Great space for a family get together!
Easy access and great amenities for a large family vacation at the lake. Easy access from the interstate and decent roads to the property. The home has an easy layout, with space to accommodate younger kids, teenagers and adults. Love the fact it has a covered, private boat slip, in an area of the lake that has plenty of good water for skiing and tubing as well as places to do some fishing. Both the owner & the property mgr are very friendly and easy to talk to as well as being prompt to respond to any questions or concerns. This is the 3rd year we’ve rented from this owner and it most probably will not be the last. Hearty recommendation.

Perfect lake house for 4 generations.
13 of us, ages 2 to 90 just spent a week on this beautiful property. There was something for everyone to enjoy - swimming, birding, pool and card games, time spent with family cooking and eating, or relaxing on the decks. or the dock. There was room for everyone to be together, or have time alone. The house is well equipped and beautifully decorated. Bring food with you, or be prepared to drive a distance to a grocery. People in the area ( The Fishin' Hole and the marina) are so very friendly and helpful. The property manager was a great help to us, too. This was the perfect place for us.

A vacation week for 3 generations
Our family of 3 generations gathered at Sunrise Serenity for a week of relaxation & making memories in a beautiful house & lake. We all felt at home in the comfortable, well appointed house, had fun swimming in front of private dock & rented pontoon was a big hit. Hated to leave!

Beautiful lake house!
We rented Sunrise Serenity for a family get together with extended family. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful. It was very quiet and private. There were 13 of us, and we had plenty of space. The kids enjoyed the bunk bed room, and all the adults had their own rooms. The way the house is set up, we had quiet and privacy in the upstairs bedrooms when the rest of the family used the downstairs. They got a lot of use out of the pool table! Having 3 refrigerators was great, as we pretty much kept them all full. The grocery store was a bit of a drive, and the Food Giant in Cadiz had the basics, but of course Wal-Mart had every thing else we needed. We ate at a couple of the restaurants in town, and they were very good. There are several nice antique shops in Cadiz. Both Jeremy and Jason were wonderful to work with. We had a few minor problems, and Jason came right out and took care of them. We rented the pontoon boat from Jason and everyone enjoyed a day on the lake. The fishing was great also. Some of the family took day trips to Nashville, and to a couple distilleries, both being just about 1- 1/2 hours away. Every one of us agreed it was a wonderful house and vacation. Thank you Jeremy for sharing your home with us, and thanks to Jason for all your help!

Great vacation!

Perfect experience
We stayed for a week at this property with 13 people spanning 3 generations. The house was perfect for us - plenty of space, beautiful views, quiet and peaceful location. Jason, the property manager, was fantastic. He was helpful and responsive to our needs, and the boat we rented from him was loads of fun. We had an amazing time and could not have asked for more perfect accommodations. Highly recommend.

Labor Day Get-Away
The family has been gathering at the lake for 14 years now! Our group has naturally grown and expanded! Finding a nice place for 9 adults and 6 kids to comfortably spread out is next to impossible! However, we found it! Sunrise Serenity was perfect for us! The online description and pictures are spot on. Everyone had a nice bedroom and plenty of space to cook, play games or just talk! The backyard was great for the kids to toss the footballs, pitch n catch and have corn hole tournaments! Access to the water was very easy with a nice paved pathway. We even brought the golf cart and had no problems! Jeremy and Jason were super quick to always respond to our questions! Needless to say, we’re already planning for next year!

Absolutely perfect. Beautiful setting, fabulously outfitted and furnished. The pictures are great but it’s actually more beautiful than described. Excellent property. The owner, Jeremy, was super! I highly recommend this property!
