Description
The SUNDANCE ESCAPE LODGE offers a serene setting for rejuvenation and making memories. This unique mountain home is minutes away from the world-famous Sundance Resort with all it offers, yet miles away from the cares of your everyday life.
The character of the home is warm and inviting with authentic Indian rugs and antique or custom furniture throughout. With a spacious great room, 6 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 3 fireplaces, a family room, and game room, there are plenty of areas to unwind and enjoy mountain living.
The vaulted great room features a floor-to-ceiling wood-burning rock fireplace. The room is enveloped by beautiful trees and hand-crafted wood railing and accents. It's open yet cozy ambiance provides a comfortable setting.
The full custom kitchen and dining area link nicely to the great room and offer all the modern amenities while blending with the mountain setting. The adjacent walk-out deck invites relaxation with its tree canopy and sound of the mountain stream below.
The master bedroom includes a gas fireplace, private balcony, and is isolated from the rest of the home. The copper soaker tub surrounded by custom slate Timpanogos skyline bids you stay awhile.
The forest level includes a 2nd kitchen, wood fireplace, and small family room. This cozy room is a great place to separate from the rest of the guests to visit or watch your favorite movie. The walk-out lower patio leads to the hot tub or the trail to the stream.
A propane generator provides automatic electrical power to the entire home in the event of a power outage. This feature has tremendous value since electrical power on the mountain can be interrupted by mother nature.
Other extras include a sauna to soothe muscles, a children’s play loft, exercise room, and extra parking. Garage parking is available for 2 vehicles and extra off-street parking for up to 5 vehicles. This is very important since no parking is allowed on the road.

25% deposit required at booking, balance due 30 days in advance of check-in date. Exception: Holiday reservations balance due 60 days in advance of check-in. A valid credit card will be required at time of booking. Your card will not be charged except in the event of damage, missing items, parking fines, or required extra cleaning.
Cancellation Policy: A full refund of deposit will be given upon receiving a written cancellation request by 5:00pm, 30 days prior to the check-in date (60 days prior to check-in for holiday reservations). No refunds offered for cancellations with less than 30 days (60 for holidays) notification as it is difficult to re-rent the cabin with short notice.

Sundance Corporate Retreat
We used the cabin for a corporate retreat. It was perfect for our large group. The open layout let a lot of people mingle without feeling cramped. The owner was also very accommodating.

Great Sundance Cabin
Sundance is a wonderful retreat of casual elegance. The beauty of the Wasatch mountains and Timpanogos is breathtaking. The cabin is lovely in a beautiful mountain setting that is very convenient to the base and is fully appointed for all of your needs. We had two families skiing with 7 people staying with lot's of room to spare. The large dining table made end of day meals easy with everyone, and the game room and hot tub were great family apre ski. The owner's met us and gave us a quick unobtrusive walk through and were very warm and welcoming and a pleasure to deal with, I would give the cabin my highest accolades for quality and convenience
What an experience!
We used this property for a leadership offsite for our engineering group, and it was the right balance of homey and rustic to get the day-to-day pressures of the office out of our heads. Would certainly enjoy staying again, if we get the opportunity.

Our family had a wonderful time. Staying so close to Sundance and relaxing in the cabin was a dream come true! The cabin was beautifully decorated and felt so warm and homelike. The owners did everything possible to make our stay amazing. I highly recommend this property and I am super picky. I am hoping my family can return and we will definitely return to this home.

Beautiful and nicely decorated cabin!
The owners Ellen and Bob are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The cabin is minutes from Sundance Resort, zip line and Steward Falls Trail head. The property is surrounded with beautiful scenery. This 6 bedrooms cabin has so many upscale furnishings you may not want to leave. We hope to return to this cabin in the near future to finish our hike to the top of Mt Timpagonos (we only made it half way this time). Thanks Ellen and Bob for having us!

Terrific Experience!
The home is beautiful, clean, very well maintained, and the owner's provided an easy and well-thought out check in process. The three levels provided plenty of space and privacy for the 8 people in our group. Our 3 boys, in particular, LOVED the hidden loft area and used it as their reading (and hiding) nook. The kitchen was well appointed, the fireplace was especially cozy for the cold Sundance nights, and it was just a terrific experience. Much thanks to the owners for their kindness and hospitality. We look forward to returning soon.

Exceptional property
The pristine property at Sundance was terrific for 10 adults and 1 toddler; owner couldn't have been more congenial and the property had all amenities you could ask for. The only downside was that all of the bedrooms, with the exception of the master, had double beds which aren't that comfortable for two. (The master suite was amazing, with a king bed and separate bathroom). Other than that, everything was awesome. Great area for hiking, taking the zipline at Sundance, reasonable close to Park City for a fun day trip. I would recommend this property to others, but make sure that they knew that the the bedrooms had double beds. Easy check out; just leaving dirty dishes washing in the dishwasher.
Awesome home and great snow
This home far exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of space for our family of 6, kids ages 13, 17, 19, & 20. The best part was there was tons of snow! We had a great time snow boarding and skiing at the Sundance Resort, playing in the snow around the property, walking to resort/spa for shopping and dining, and driving into Provo for a BYU basketball game. I can't say enough good things about this place. Our family loved it!

Absolutely Amazing
This place was everything we hoped for and more. The owners walked us through the house and explained everything completely. Lots of space to spread out. Exceeded our expectations and would stay there again.
