Description
The cottages of Deepwood Lodges can be found nestled in a grove of tall pines leading to a beautiful sandy beach on Lake Winnipesaukee. It has been the summer destination for many of our guests for generations, some coming for more than 50 years.
If you are planning a family reunion or just have a large group we have cottage 3, 4 and 12 available. This listing is for the rental of the following 3 cottages: Cottage 3 and 4 each have 2 bedrooms and a den. Cottage 12 has 4 bedrooms. The cottages can be rented separately - see other listings.
The cottages shares a large sandy beach, swim raft, picnic area and large BBQ grill with 12 other cottages. Rowboats, kayaks, sailboat, canoe and paddle boat are all available to guests to use at no charge; plus there is a basketball hoop, a volleyball net, a shuffleboard and swings. We can also accommodate some boats up to 20' but space is limited.

What a great place!
It is the best vacation spot we have found on Lake Winnipesaukee. Some families have been coming here for over 40 years. The cottages have been modernized, the sandy beach is very nice, the grounds are beautiful, and various kinds of boats are available at no extra charge. There are lots of things to do including swimming, free use of various type of boats, badminton, horse shoes, shuffle board, basketball and fishing for kids and serious fishermen.

A great place to vist again and again!
Deepwood Lodges is the ultimate family vacation spot! This place is great -there is so much to see & do! While there are plenty of fun attractions in and around the area - you could also just spend your entire visit at Deepwood - there is so much to do! There are a number of cottages all abutting the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, with a big sandy beach to play on all day. Pick up lunch from the nearby country store or deli and come back & sit at the picnic tables on the beach along the Lake to enjoy a great view. For dinner you can use the big BBQ on the beach to enjoy a great dinner while the kids play on the beach at dusk -and catch the amazing sunset too. During the day you can use rowboats, kayaks, sailboat, canoe and a paddle boat that are all available to use at no extra charge. It's an endless supply of water fun at Deepwood. The best part about Deepwood is the memories that are made year after year! Can't wait to visit again this summer!!!

What a wonderful vacation. Deepwood was perfect for us. The three bedroom cottages were all clean & spacious. We were in Cottage # 8 which had recently been expanded and modernized. Like most of the cottages, it had a screened in porch and a fireplace. The beach was clean & sandy and the grounds were spacious and beautiful. There were kayaks, sailboat, paddle boat and row boats you could use with your own motor. All were available to use at no extra charge. Fishing is good for serious fishermen as well as children. There is also basketball, badminton & sufflle board.
Best Family Spot on the Lake
I have been to a great deal of spots on Lake Winnipesaukee and have found no other that is more beautiful and quiet as it is at Deepwood Lodges. You are within minutes to some of the greatest attractions in the lakes region but feel like you are at a retreat when you come back. The cottages are just what you need after a long day of fun on the lake. They are cozy, well taken care of and offer you all the comforts of home. The beach and docks are perfect for the beautiful weather you are bound to experience. There is a great sandy bottom swimming area as well as kayaks, a canoe, paddle boat, row boats, and a sailboat to use that are all included in your stay. The manager Steve is a wealth of knowledge about the area and will make your stay one of the best, you will want to come back year after year!

Love this place!
When I was a kid, my parents used to bring me up to Lake Winnipesaukee every summer. We always had a blast and I really wanted to give that experience to my family. Our stay at Deepwood Lodges was excellent and everything I had hoped it would be. The kids had so much fun playing on the beach and my husband and I just enjoyed relaxing and soaking in the sun and the water. This is a small group of cottages, so you have a chance to meet people--which meant playmates for the kids! Even on the days when it rained, it was truly just great--an opportunity for us to reconnect as a family, play games and just be with each other. Something that is pretty rare in our lives these days! The location of the cottages is also super convenient--you feel like you are tucked away in the woods, but you are really close to some great restaurants, ice cream, mini-golf, the arcade, and some great hiking spots. And good fishing! That was my husband's highlight. We are definitely going back this year.

My Happy Place!
I have been coming to Deepwood since 1965 with my parents and aunt and uncle. We are now on our four generation with our grandchildren. Deepwood is a wonderful family place! There is so much to do in a fantasticly safe environment. I love kayaking early in the morning on a quiet lake meeting up with the loons. It is so much fun retuning each year and seeing our Deepwood friends. Deepwood is definitely my Happy Place!
