Please note VRBO and Homeaway.com rates are in U.S. dollars
Watch the powerful Bay of Fundy tides rise and fall at the lawn's edge from this luxury beachfront vacation home. Three beautifully appointed bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living rooms with full ocean views. Two full baths, one with jet tub, wood burning fireplaces in living room and master bedroom, dishwasher, washer, dryer, fully equipped kitchen, covered deck and gas BBQ. Full communication services with high-speed internet, phone and satellite TV.
The toughest decision will be whether to explore the world-class Fundy Trail Parkway or stay at home and launch kayaks from the lawn's edge, beach comb and walk on the ocean floor. You will be lured outside with the peaceful grace of these surroundings, not just because of the recreational possibilities but because you will crave the smell and sight and sounds of it.
Steeped in history, this property looked very different in the 19th century. The 1800's saw slipways and wooden vessels built on this property as this was the location of the Capt. John Marr and T.H. Bradshaw age-of-sail shipyards. There's still lots for the amateur archaeologist to discover, from the blunted stumps of the slipway pilings where sailing vessels were launched to spikes and rusty tools buried in the soil.

Spectacular views from a unique and comfortable home
The location was beautiful with the Bay of Fundy as our backyard. We enjoyed kayaking the water channel around high tide and walking out farther at low tide. The home was very well maintained and quite comfortable. Valerie met us and left behind fresh cookies on our arrival. We enjoyed watching sunrises at breakfast and playing cards in the evening in the dining area during sunset. Valerie has several gorgeous handmade quilts for the beds and has some nice artwork around the home. The kitchen is well stocked including some handmade pottery cups and bowls. There are restaurants and a general grocery with freshly made sausage nearby and many sites to see and trails to walk. Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!
