Description
A true Maritime experience! Hot tub, BBQ, 1200 square feet, all in a modern yet cosy private cottage, with a view you will never forget! Take our free Provincial cable ferry to get to us, and enjoy the local beach, rare covered bridge, lighthouses, and seasonal Farmer's Market. Snow in the winter, Spring budding, moderate Summer temperatures and beautiful Fall foliage make this the spot to be any time of the year!
Your cottage has satellite tv, and a Wifi connection. Given our isolated location, Wifi connection can be slow at times! Wifi password is on the "rules" sheet in the cottage.
You will have access to multiple acres of land, volley ball net, horseshoe toss, ring toss, and additional yard games. Onsite laundry, and recycle bins as well as garbage bin.
We love to see our guests enjoy the grounds, but we want to make sure all guests enjoy their stay! Therefore, there are limitations to how many outside guests are permitted on the property. We ask any outside guests register at the office. Everything in moderation, right?
We respect your privacy, and given that we live next to the site, hope that our privacy is respected as well. Of course, phone calls, emails and texts of concerns will be answered!
We are located on the Kingston Peninsula, which means we are nearly an Island, but do have one end connected to the "main land". Therefore, a free cable ferry ride is pretty much a necessity to get to us, which is a 5 minute crossing, and runs 24/7! We are not all that isolated, however, as in Grandbay-Westfield, all your daily needs can be met, with a grocery store, drug store, coffee, shop, bakery, liquor store, bank and a few small restaurants!
We are located in Carter's point, on the Kingston Peninsula. A free 24/7 Provincial cable ferry is required to get to our location. Although we are in a secluded area, we are only 2 km from this ferry, and all of your every day necessities are available in Grandbay-Westfield, including a grocery store, Gas stations, bank, coffee shops, bakery, vegetable stand and liquor store. Drive another 10 minutes and you will be in the center of Saint John.
The Eagle Cottage has a full kitchen, and full bath, with two spacious bedrooms. There is a propane fireplace in the common are, flat screen TV, Satellite, WiFi, and your own private hot tub. All towels, linens, pillows, and kitchen accessories are included. There is on site, coin-operated laundry, a volleyball net, play set for children, horse shoes, washer toss, Yard Yahtzee and Yard Jenga. Also, we have a book club located in the Recycle Room! Recycle Bins and Garbage bin are also on site.

This Property is totally Amazing ! it's a Gem of a place, on the beautiful Saint John River. The cottage is very clean, well decorated and fairly new. The grounds are so well kept. nothing was missing. it was Fabulous! definitely will return in the near future.
