Description
We are offering the Savoy Suite in an 1878 Victorian Historic Building close to Uptown Saint John and all major transit as well as restaurants, the Imperial Theater, Museums, and National Parks. This Apartment is part of a year round B&B and has many original features to it. It was completely remodeled just a few years ago and has a tin ceiling, a large bedroom with a queen bed, and a wardrobe that was on a Tom Sellick movie production. It also has a large washroom with tub and shower...and a full kitchen. Saint John is Canada's oldest incorporated city and in 2017 was 233 years old! Consequently we are home to many "firsts"! The first chartered Bank, the first penny newspaper, first public museum, first police union, among many more "firsts" or "oldest"! The People are super friendly and often go out of their way to help tourists with directions. The pace of life is fairly relaxed and it is easy to engage the locals in conversation.The Architecture is amazing and the early history of shipbuilding gave rise to a strong economy and homes and buildings of distinction! Today we are still a strong Port city with both Tankers and Cruise ships.....and close to 2 million people coming each year to Saint John see the sites! We WELCOME you to come and see first hand the "treasures" of friendly people and the unique history (and architecture) that abounds throughout Saint John and area!

This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.
