For the fishermen or fisherwomen Lake Hamilton has some of the best bass and pike fishing. The kids can join in the fishing fun by catching sun fish off your private dock. Very close proximity to private right away/boat launch. There is ample parking.
This inviting waterfront retreat offers an open floor plan, two living room areas, three bedrooms and two full baths. Enjoy peaceful dinners with lake views in the dining area. One of the living rooms offers a sleeper sofa with water views. The second living room includes two sliding doors leading to the patio area with outdoor table and chairs to dine by the lake. The large, downstairs masters suite has a comfortable king size bed and two very spacious, walk in closets. The master bathroom has a separate shower and jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds.

Quality Fishing
This was our 2nd year staying on Hamilton Reservoir in Walt and Mary Ann's rental and will be back as long as they will have us. They are very friendly, helpful yet unobtrusive. The house is fantastic and comfortable for 6 to 8 people. The fact that there is no public boat launch on their half of the res. makes for some quality largemouth catch and release bass fishing. We have also seen large northern pike but have not hooked one yet. Pretty decent fishing right off of the dock. the lake is busy on the week-ends but we had the lake all to ourselves most mornings. Give this place a try even if you don't fish. Mike

Great Family Vacation
We booked this home nearly a year ago because we were looking for a location near the Brimfield Antique Markets. Although that was the primary reason for coming, this was also a family vacation. The location was great, a short drive to a Brimfield and also close to Sturbridge Village where we took our granddaughter. Once we arrived we found the lake to be fantastic. The home was clean and very well designed with sleeping areas nicely separated from the living area of the house, while close enough to hear children. The owners were very helpful and kind. This is a relaxing, pleasant home.

Excellent rental property
We recently enjoyed two weeks in this home. The house was very clean and well equipped. The reservoir was beautiful and very quiet. Our kids and guests had a blast catching fish, kayaking, canoeing and swimming. Mary Ann and Walt were very kind and helpful. This is definitely a FIVE STAR property!

Great Property for Families, Teens, Kids, or Family Reunions; Close to Sturbridge Village & I-84
We had 5 grandchildren with us ranging in age from 10-22 years. We arrived late night but found this home without problem. We couldn't see the wonderful view of the lake where the home is located until morning. The second floor living room picture window view was spectacular. Some of our kids started exploring outside enjoying the fresh cold air of morning. Later they used the canoes. Home was fully equipped and stocked. The beds were very good, rooms were roomy. The sofa bed is in the 2nd floor living room. Current sofa and love seat in the downstairs family room are extremely soft and comfy and two of our kids liked them better than mattresses. You can eaisly seat 8 around the dining room table. Big grill and table an chairs and fire pit are in yard. We loved it. Owners are right next door and very helpful.House not really handicapped accessible. About 15 min. to Sturbridge Village (spend 4 - 5 hours there). It is about 40 min. to Hartford Conn. and the Mark Twain House, and Harriet Beecher Stowe House and one other house plus a museum (allow about 3 to 4 hours to see it all). Interesting homes.

Wonderful family vacation!
Our family had the most delightful stay at this home! Our children are 15, 11, and 11, and they were consistently busy. We were kayaking, jumping into the water, and swimming almost every day. The well-equipped kitchen made meals cost effective and easy. Our hosts (and next-door neighbors) Maryanne, Walt, and Andrew, were friendly and helpful, while being respectful of our privacy. The home has comfortable rooms with beautiful views, and a fabulous patio and firepit. We plan to be back soon!

Great lakehouse!
Had a wonderful stay at this property. The home is very large, more than enough room, was clean, and well supplied with towels, linens, extra blankets, pillows, and even toys for the kids! The view is to die for! Love this place. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

The Lakefront Home was beautiful, comfortable,clean,and well stocked we brought more cooking supplies then we needed ie. strainer , large pot, wine opener, fire starters too much to mention. Property is right on water so is fun to watch all the water activities , fish jumping, crane, even saw a bald eagle. We enjoyed fishing from shore and the dock and catching so many pumpkin seed but also a few bass and catfish . We had a group aging from 40;s to 80;s and everyone had the best time . I can't say enough good things about the owners , Maryann and Walter , who live next door, just the nicest people you could meet, they only made the whole experience better. My little dog took to Maryann right away and got excited every time to see her. We all live in the general area but could not have found a better place to go no matter how far we traveled and we would love to go back again. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

Great Lake House
We had a great time at this lovely lake house. The water was extremely swimmable right of the dock and was very clean and warm. The house was clean and had all the amenities. Everything worked well, including laundry and A/C ( which was good for our dogs - as we were there during a hot and humid week in July). The fishing was great which my son and I spent hours doing. Mostly sunfish off the dock but bass were plenty when we took the canoe out (they also had a rowboat and two kayaks). There is also a cove and inlet walking distance down the road where we had a lot of luck with largemouth bass and even a nice pickerel. The owners are right next door, but were very friendly and helpful. The only negative would be if you really wanted an isolated quiet cabin in the woods, this isn’t it - the homes are pretty close and there is a lot of boat traffic. Overall - this is a great house with tons of amenities and with no hassles on a really Great Lake only an hour out of Boston.

Comfy Lake House
Great location, easy to find. Some nice touches, like new dish rag and scrubbier. Good quality and plenty of paper products stocked. House was very clean and beds were comfy.

Great, Relaxing, Lake View
Beautiful relaxing view of the lake. The house was exactly as described and portrayed in pictures. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. MaryAnne was very personable and available next door for questions. Close proximity to Sturbridge.
