Classic Bermuda Home with ocean views, nicely updated kitchen, 3 Bedroom, 2 bath
Traditional Bermudian home, beautifully and carefully updated. 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Located on one of the higher hills on the island, giving wonderful views of Harrington Sound and North Shore.
The basic rate per night of our home is based on occupancy of 4 people. There is a 3rd bedroom which allows for 2 additional guests, accordingly we charge an additional $30.00 a night per person for up to 2 extra guests, making 6 total in our home. The total for the base rate for 5 people becomes $330.00, 6 people $360.00. (Please note the rates may vary from the base rate during the year.)
We've had guests come and want to go out for dinner, but once they see the view, experience the sunset and the twinkly lights come on across Harrington Sound, they stock up at the grocery store, and cook in our well equipped kitchen! Located in Smith's Parish, convenient to Hamilton, St George's, the Airport, Flatt's Village with restaurants and Aquarium. Thoughtful updates include split wall air conditioning, new windows and sliding glass door, 2017. Kitchen all new 2014. Stainless appliances, including dishwasher, gas stove and oven.
King bed or 2 twins in main bedroom, views of Harrington Sound. Can be en suite with just a close of a door!
Queen size bed in second bedroom, views of Harrington Sound . Third Bedroom has 2 twin beds, can be made into a king bed on request, garden views. 2 full bathrooms. Washer and dryer.
Living and room with new slider to front terrace with views of the ocean. Step out to private grounds of 1/2 acre.
Relax under large shade Poinciana Tree.
Barbecue and dine on terrace off living room watching the sun set in the west. In the morning eat breakfast watching the sun rise in the east. All the while there is the view of Harrington Sound and Atlantic Ocean beyond!! Twinkling lights at night in the distance. Star gaze to your hearts content. Bermuda is zika free. Only occasionally do we have a mosquito. We sit outside all evening. You'll love the colorful small geckos, great house companions and insect eaters! Please don't disturb them! We aren't on the water, we are atop one of the highest hills, hence the beautiful views. The beaches are a bus ride away. Bermuda is 21 miles long, 1 mile at its widest, so the ocean is never far away. This is a 65 year old house that though it has been lovingly restored, has it's imperfections, some will love and some need to have more of a hotel experience!

The Bermuda pink bus number 3, pass through Harrington Hundreds, a 7 minute walk away. They go to Hamilton, a 15 minute ride, and St Georges, a 25 minute ride about every 30 minutes until 6pm.
12 minutes walk down the hill you arrive at Harrington Hundreds Grocery. A very good small grocery serving the neighborhood and the upmarket Tucker's Town area. They have a chef preparing hot food daily, plus a wide range of meats, vegetables, groceries, and special dietary foods.
We have 4 sets of masks and flippers and beach umbrella.
Our lane is wide enough for one car, please be careful when walking and when riding scooters, please drive defensively and slowly, especially as well on the main roads!

Paradise
Just returned from a week at High Terraces. The pictures on line do not do it justice. The house is beautiful. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, and you are supplied with everything you could possibly need for your vacation. The views are some of the most spectacular on the island. We have come to Bermuda for 28 years and this house supplied the best views by far. We were lucky to meet Marion and Gary in person. They are lovely people who went over and above to help us. We had a medical emergency when we were there and Marion and her sister were there to get us information on where to go and Marion even took time out of her day to take us to the hospital. I can't say enough about her. We loved being located in Smiths, close to St George, Southampton Beaches, Hamilton and the Dockyard. We will definitely be back to High Terraces!

Fabulous as Advertised
I can't imagine a better location to enjoy the island Paradise of Bermuda than this! The house at the top of the hill in Smith's Parish is quiet, roomy and the views of Harrington Sound are breathtaking. Perfect size for our family of 5 for a week of fun in the sun. The house is older but nicely renovated and with new appliances in the kitchen. The gas grill came in handy when we decided to enjoy a quiet meal at home. The house is very convenient to the bus lines (thank you for the passes!) but we ended up renting a twizy and scooters to get around. The twizy charger came in very handy. All in all the best vacation our family has had in a long time. Thanks Marion and Gary for a beautiful experience we won't forget!

Our second visit to this great property
This is the way to really experience Bermuda. A great house with a gorgeous view of Harrington Sound. Pick groceries down the hill and BBQ in the yard. Having a scooter will help you get around.
