Villa Makambu a Contemporary Caribbean style with breathtaking views of beautiful Marigot Bay and the Caribbean ocean. The villa is nestled on the south side of Marigot Bay.
The whole villa (3750 sq.ft.) , upper and lower level, consists of 4 large bedrooms with king size beds, one bedroom with 2 single beds one small bedroom with a single, a mezzanine with a queen size bed and TV lounging area . All of the bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and floor fans, large wardrobe, mosquito netting,
4 bathrooms (two on each level) , 2 spacious kitchens (one on each level), living room on each level , all opening on large verandas by louver doors for dining and entertainment with spectacular views.
The property is surrounded by mature gardens with a wide selection of fruit trees, palms and Caribbean flowers to welcome you in the spirit of beautiful St-Lucia.
A large wooden deck surrounds a 36 x 16 feet sea/salt pool with outdoor shower.
Surroundings of Villa Makambu: The villa is a 15-20 minute walk down to the beach, to restaurants, banking, bakery, shopping and nightlife.You will also find a secluded cove (Trou Rolland or Fishing Cove) which is a 10 minute walk, where you can enjoy swimming , snorkeling, jumping of rocks or simply relaxing on the beach.
Information and Guidance: The property also has a smaller house which is only occupied by the owner when on the island or by a 24 hour, day and night employee who is available for info or help. Carlos offers water taxiing (extra fee) for fishing, goig to private beaches, shopping in Castries or Rodney Bay or a day of snorkeling and visiting the Pitons in Soufrière. He will gladly help you in anything you need and he is a great tourist guide who can take you anywhere you wish to go.

Fabulous Villa
Stayed there for a week with 3 other couples. We had both floors! The villa is beautiful and very well maintained. Fully stocked with all necessities. Josee and Carlos are such a huge benefit at the villa. Josee helped us with excursions and basic island information. Carlos cooked for us twice and the meals were delicious. He also took us on a book trip one day to visit other parts of the island. Smiley was waiting for us at the airport and stopped by the grocery store on our way to the villa. He also escorted us on two day trips to different parts of the island. I would not recommend renting a car as the terrain is hilly with winding roads.....use Smiley. Everyone knows him and he gives you a personal touch to your adventure. We really enjoyed the open verandas and the pool. We had housekeeping 3 days and every detail was touched! The view is spectacular. We had dinner twice in Marigot Bay which was fun and very tasty. Such a lovely place!! Pascale was very easy to work with and we emailed several times.

Outstanding family vacation
My family of 13 (9 adults and 4 children) spent 4 amazing days. The house has a breathtaking view of the bay. Pascale was very responsive prior to our arrival. Carlos, the caretaker, helped us organize daily trips, cooked us a delicious dinner and provided valuable local information. I also highly recommend Smally ‘s transportation services. He is great. We would love to return to this villa soon.
