Situated on the breathtaking North Coast, Sapphire Reef Villa is surrounded by Boscobel Reef, a protected reef noted for its variety of sea life and beautiful corals. There are 4 spacious bedrooms, each with en suite bathrooms. The pool terrace overlooks the reef to provide 180 degrees of beautiful panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea with splashes of sapphire and turquoise. Cool off by taking a dip in the crystal clear pool or have a cold drink in the gazebo/bar area. The villa is fully serviced with a cook, housekeeper, and grounds keeper who can also take you snorkeling in the sea. The location is ideal as we are near some of Jamaica's best known attractions, such as Dunns River Falls, Blue Hole, Blue Mountain hiking or biking, etc. The villa is on the main road which provides easy access to all local attractions and cultural events.
Our villa is equipped with cable TV and WIFI.
Guests have exclusive use of the villa and grounds. The villa is a great escape for honeymooners or even better, for 2nd honeymooners. We have special rates for honeymooners or a couple celebrating their anniversary.
Nestled off the sea, the trees and garden cover provide complete privacy for our guests enjoyment of the sun and night sky.
For peace and relaxation, there is jetty/pier at sea level for snorkeling, swimming or just lying on a chaise lounge.
The water off the jetty depending on the tide is about 2-3 ft, and suitable for children and adults new to snorkeling. Beautiful colorful fish are observed right at the jetty. The reef is protected, therefore the coral and fish are diverse and abundant.
Meals are served at your convenience as staff live on the premises. Guests are served their meals either outside or inside. You decide with our cook the menu, and staff will do all grocery shopping. Cost of food and beverages are covered by guests.

A licensed masseuse and manicurist can be secured to provide their services on the pool deck while gazing into the blues of the sea, or in the privacy of your bedroom, your choice.
Guests are within walking, snorkeling or swimming distance ( walking about 5 minutes) from Marley Beach, a small sandy beach and pier. Other beaches such as James Bond Beach or Reggae Beach are within 10 minutes by car or taxi.
Spectacular sunrises and sunsets are viewed throughout the villa including ocean side bedrooms. Imagine waking up to a Caribbean sunrise. Get your camera ready and see you soon.
Cook and staff are included in rate, you just reimburse cook for the cost of your food and beverages.
All bedrooms have AC and ceiling fans.
We have a wonderful lovable pet/security dog, Dobie, who provides security. It is our policy to not let Dobie within guests areas unless requested by guests.

Best vacation/Highly Recommend
The positives far outweigh the negatives. We chose to make this a vacation where all eight of us came home feeling relaxed, and this house fit in every way what we wanted. Pros and cons are below. Positives: 1) Staff. Hands down you will love them. They go above and beyond in every way. They can be as involved as you want them to be. I can't disclose the number of quaint surprises they have in store for you. 2) The house. You can put your bathing suit on in the morning and never take it off until you go back to bed. Everything you need is right there to enjoy their beautiful weather outside. If you are looking for an "electronic" vacation this isn't it. The pool it a perfect size for eight people, and there is plenty of seating areas outside. 3) Snorkeling. Have Jhavan, one of the staff, take you out before breakfast. That's the best time, before Beaches boats start coming around. Have him take you out past the reefs to find out what he means when he says, "it goes blue. 4) The dogs. Your security. Dobie is super sweet. You can be sure he will let you pet him, if you want. Winter knows his job, and neither intrude on your vacation. If you don't like or have allergies, they aren't allowed in the house. Again their purpose is for your security. Negatives: 1) As you've probably read from other reviews the house is right along a main road. Jamaicans drivers pass each other with the aid of their horns. The front two bedrooms can hear this. Just remember to play hard during the day so you can sleep well at night, and you will never have to worry much about the traffic.

Wow, is all I can say. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous. But what really did it for me was the staff. Mrs. Jennifer, Mrs. Tasha, and Jahvon are absolutely amazing! They are always so polite, helpful, and courteous! Every penny spent renting out this property for our stay in Jamaica was worth every penny and so much more! I went as far to even tell all my friends and family that are looking to visit Jamaica to stay at this Villa, because if they stay any where else, it would just be a disappointment! Thank you Mrs. Sandra for making the booking process so easy and always accommodating my request and needs, and thank you for having such an amazing staff-which also includes the two fur babies! I will definitely be back to visit, and I will make sure I rent with you again!

Sitting down to breakfast each morning and looking at the breath taking vista of the Sapphire Reef will live in our minds forever. My family of four spent a week at the Sapphire Reef Villa in August to celebrate our daughter's fiftieth birthday. She specifically wanted a different Jamaican experience instead of the usual sea and sand. She was not disappointed! She and her daughter fell in love with the Villa from the first moment they saw it. Plans to visit Dunns Drive Falls and other local sights were discarded in preference for getting into the pool shortly after breakfast and staying in or lying around it all day. This decision was helped by not wanting to miss the delicious meals cooked by Miss Jen. Natasha, the brilliant and artistic housekeeper who delighted us each morning with beautiful towel origami of birds and animals kept the villa absolutely spotless and gleaming. The combination of Natasha, Jennifer and Johvain made our stay so delightful that we did not want the holiday to end. Our daughter is determined to return to the Sapphire Reef as soon as she can.
