Description
You and your guests will love the completely remodeled 'Duck Creek Retreat'. With 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 15 beds that sleep 26 people, in addition, we have 6 air mattresses with sleeping bags and pillows provided that sleep an additional 6 people in the game room, plus couches that can sleep additional guests if needed, a large 24' octogon private pool and 8 seat hot tub along with a recreation room with Table Tennis, Air Hockey, Foosball, Casino Games and exercise equipment, outdoor cooking, multiple decks, screened in porch, balcony with seating, mood lights, pond feature, large yard and more, your families will love your stay. We also have volleyball in the backyard as well as basketball, croquet, horseshoes, golf Frisbee, and lots of other indoor and outdoor games for your family to enjoy.
We also have a boat slip (or several) available at Arrowhead South Marina (a short 3 minute walk from the property) where you can dock your boat and fish off the docks.
We have added a brand new large second kitchen that overlooks the swimming pool and has lots of counter top space and is a full kitchen. We provide all of the pots/pans, cooking ware, glasses, cups, plates, silverware, etc. We have a smaller full kitchen available also that is fully stocked so you will have plenty of space and stoves/ovens to cook meals. You can also enjoy our outdoor kitchen and grills if you want to cook outside while enjoying your time on the deck space. Enjoy great views, multiple decks overlooking Duck Creek, your very own private pool (24' octogon pool with depths from 3 feet to 5 1/2 feet, open during mid May - Oct). Plus you can enjoy a private hot tub (open year-round) that seats 8 people perfectly situated by the pond feature and pool.
Duck Creek Retreat has a total of 6 bedrooms (7 if you use the combo game room for a night time bedroom) with 15 beds that sleep 26 people (plus 6 air mattresses with sleeping bags and pillows included that sleep 6 additional guests). 5 bedrooms have doors. The beds in these five rooms are one King bed, 4 Queen beds, 2 Full and 2 Twin beds We also have an open concept bedroom with 4 full size beds and a twin over twin bunk bed for the kids or guests. The game room can also be utilized as a private 7th bedroom at night by folding up the ping pong table and using the air mattresses and sleeping bags with pillows included.
We have one of the best places to view the Duck Creek 4th of July spectacular with multiple deck views of the fireworks. Book your 4th of July week and make some great family memories! Hang out in the private swimming pool and hot tub and watch the fireworks display! Plan to book a full week to enjoy the lake and festivities.
Details of each bedroom:
The upstairs Master Suite has an amazing King size Bed as well as a Full over Full Bunk Bed so that your family unit can enjoy your stay together. Or put the kids in a separate bedroom for privacy. In addition, the Master bedroom features a brand new private full bathroom, a fireplace, a cozy table with chairs, a couch that lays flat for sleeping to relax or use as an additional 'bed' and a 55' Smart TV with a DVD player. You will also love the private refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and coffee. The master bedroom has a private door that goes out to the wrap-around balcony with lots of seating, propane fireplace, tables and chairs that overlooks the beautiful Duck Creek (Grand Lake). You will love your stay! It has a separate heat/air unit.
The second upstairs bedroom features a Queen Bed along with 2 Twin Beds so your family unit can enjoy time together in your very own private room. The bedroom has a 55' Smart TV along with a DVD player. It has a separate heat/air unit.
The third bedroom (downstairs) has a Queen bed along with a fireplace in the room along with a 32' TV and a DVD player. It has a separate heat/air unit and has lake view.
The fourth bedroom (downstairs) has a Queen bed along with a fireplace in the room along with a 32' TV and a DVD player. It has a separate heat/air unit. There is an additional door that goes into the Recreation room for easy access.
The fifth bedroom (downstairs) has a Queen bed along with a fireplace in the room along with a 32' TV and a DVD player. It has a separate heat/air unit and faces the back yard.
The sixth bedroom (upstairs) is an open concept room with 4 full size beds and a twin over twin bunk bed. It sports a large 55' Smart TV along with a DVD player. It has a separate heat/air unit.
The Recreation room is a great getaway for the kids and adults. Enjoy a variety of games like Table Tennis, Air Hockey, Foosball, Casino Games and exercise equipment. Also enjoy a 55' Smart TV, a DVD player, Atari, Xbox, etc. We also provide outdoor volleyball ball, basketball, soccer ball, Croquet, frisbee, horseshoes and lots of board games and checkers & chess.
In addition, the Recreation room at night can be transformed into a 7th bedroom with a separate door. The ping pong table can be folded up to make room for air mattresses with sleeping bags and pillows included. Just move over some of the games to make space for the air mattresses or the kids could make pallets on the floor as needed.
We have two full kitchens that are gorgeous. We have just built a brand new kitchen overlooking the swimming pool so you can prepare the food and hang out with your friends/family. It also flows into a new dining area overlooking the large outdoor deck space and living area. The Kitchens are completely remodeled and fully equipped with an electric stove/convection oven, plus an additional wall oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, disposal, Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, blender, food chopper, and much more.
Your guests will have plenty of space to eat together with the expanded dining room featuring 3 large tables and chairs that seat 22 guests (plus another dining table overlooking the deck seating 10 people for a total of 32 guests). You will enjoy the stacked stone fireplace feature, a large TV, great views to Duck Creek and next to a second Family Room with a 55' Smart TV, DVD player and a great fireplace.
Your group can also enjoy multiple living areas like the living room, family room, game room, front porch, screened in porch outside decks, wrap around balcony and large yard.
We provide a fantastic outdoor kitchen with a large gas grill, a 5 burner stove, sink, and refrigerator. We also have an outdoor propane griddle, several charcoal grills, multiple propane grills, a smoker, etc. You will have plenty of places to cook or grill your food, whether inside or outside. We provide a bag of charcoal and fluid for your convenience as well as propane for the grills.

Weddings held on the property are charged a fee of $2,500 which will be added to the listed daily rates. An additional damage deposit is required as well. Ask the owner for more details based on your wedding party size.
A boat slip (or several) may be rented at a rate of $35 each per day.

Loves the accommodations
We had siblings and spouses ranging from 54 to 72 years young. We also has Mom there who is 91. We loved getting together at your retreat and enjoyed the privacy of the pool a lot. The large living room was just what we needed for visiting. We never turned on one TV!! Everything was so clean and hope we left it as found. The only comment I have is that it is decorated very beautifully for a cover of a Home magazine but is a little overdone with the table decorations that we had to move in order to eat and see across the table. Thank you for lovely time and hope we can return next year.

Everyone raved about how great this property is all weekend
We had a surprise party for 20 guests and I was looking for something that would accommodate everyone in regards to beds, privacy, amenities, and overall fun. This place definitely has it all for large groups. What seemed like every hour, people continuously raved about how wonderful Duck Creek Retreat was. It seemed as if the amazement of this property crept its way into every conversation at some point regardless of topic. This will now be the place that others and myself will book for any large get-togethers because it really is that wonderful and meets the needs of all individuals. BEST FAMILY VACATION HOME
Let me first start by saying that we had the BEST time at Duck Creek Retreat! What a retreat it was! Not only is this place beautifully decorated but it has all the amenities you can think of, and more!!!! We felt so at home. Everything stocked beyond par! The pool and hot tub were exceptional. The multi decks were so accommodating with nice patio furniture and accessories. Let me not forget the nicely decorated restroom on the deck, stocked with plenty of pool towels. We cooked outside, we barbecued outside. WE ENJOYED BEING OUTSIDE ON ALL OF THE DECKS! Five stars, NO, I give it ten all the WAY!!

Loved Duck Creek Retreat!!
This property was awesome. They had activities for all ages. The house was comfortable for our group of 24. The beautiful outdoor areas were plentiful with many large gathering areas. Places to slip away and relax of needed. Kitchens were stocked with everything needed. We will definitely be back for our annual family gathering. Highly recommend
