This attractive West facing cottage with large balcony, mature colourful garden and swimming pool, is elevated to enjoy superb panoramic views over the bay and the vivid evening sunsets. The palm fringed sandy beach is ideal for swimming. This is a prestigious residential location with Marina, mini-market, and restaurant in one direction and 4 restaurants in the other, including the world famous Calabash Hotel. All within 5 minutes walk. Our excellent cook/housekeeper, an essential part of our package, takes the 'self' out of self catering if this is your preference (breakfast, prepared local meal). You can adapt her schedule for getting all the required privacy. The house is well maintained and always upgraded as appropriate. Both bedrooms 'en suite' and with air-conditioning and ceiling fan.

Rental Notes
Rates include pick up and drop from / to airport. We do not include the usual 10% service charge, so tipping our housekeeper Greta is appropriate if you are happy with her. Greta is a gem, and tries to make everyone's holiday special. Our views are truly spectacular. Although you are just by the beach, the swimming pool is "right there" to totally chill out by (under the shade provided if needed).

Charming cottage overlooking the bay.
The staff (house keeper, property manager and gardener) was amazing and helpful. We enjoyed the location - very easy to walk across the street to the beach for two different resorts/restaurants. We rented a car and explored the island - such a beautiful island with friendly people. Our kids loved the pool. Great getaway! We highly recommend.

Perfect Location for Families
This property is located directly across the street from the beach and in a safe neighborhood making it perfect for a small family or two couples looking to relax. The exterior grounds are beautiful with lush and vibrant landscaping surrounding the pool deck and the rest of the yard. The verandah offers panoramic views of the bay and is a great place to relax. The cottage offers all the amenities, 2 bedrooms and baths, and a fully equipped kitchen, but you will not spend any time inside. The beach, located directly across the street offers the beach restaurant sponsored by the Calabash Resort at the far end. We enjoyed a great lunch in a beautiful setting and of course the main restaurant at the resort is available as well. A little closer on the beach is a fantastic dive shop where we arranged snorkeling with spotted eagle rays and a wreck dive. And then closer is the tiki bar where we mostly enjoyed the weather, water and of course a couple of their rum punches. The neighborhood is safe allowing my kids to adventure down to the beach with no problems. I almost never want to travel back to a destination, but Grenada is wonderful with solid enough infrastructure to be able to drive yourself around and plenty to do. Owl Cottage is the perfect location to base your adventure from and I will be coming back.
