Sugar Ridge is a private gated community nestled into a hillside where sugar cane was once grown.
Cotton House is situated on a corner lot midway up the hill. It is a "green" house with (17) solar panels and 12,000 gallon cistern to collect rainwater which is purified for the house. It has two en suite bedrooms in the main house and a third en suite bedroom in the detached cottage at the rear of the property.
There are three window "walls" comprised of floor to ceiling sliding glass doors which recess into pocket frames in the living/dining great room. This creates a refreshing cool breeze that flows through the house all day long.
The large verandah pleases sun & shade lovers equally and is lovely for every meal of the day. You will have the hard job every day to pick which of the three lounging areas you are in the mood for.
The infinity edge pool is accompanied by a smaller lounging pool perfect for happy hour.
The courtyard is a nice, cool spot to relax in the late afternoon.
There is plenty of space to park a rental car beyond the remote controlled entrance gate.

Beautiful villa overlooking Jolly Harbour
Just returned from a wonderful trip to Antigua and stayed at the Cotton House in Jolly Harbour for 1 week. Jenn was very responsive to all of my questions before and during our trip. The villa had an amazing view and was extremely comfortable for our family of 4.

Perfect for 3 couples
This is the villa for you if you like to relax by the infinity pool, read under the covered patio, and watch the boats in Jolly Harbor. We enjoyed preparing some of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen and dining both inside and out. Beds and linens are exceptionally comfortable. Lovely interior decor and beautifully landscaped grounds. This villa is in a great location and includes access to Sugar Ridge resort (pools, amazing outdoor yoga "shed", 2 restaurants) within walking distance. Several good restaurants within only a few minutes drive (Miracles, Melini's, Al Porto, Big Head Lobster, Castaways) as well as the Epicurean grocery. The owner thoughtfully checked in from a distance to make sure all was good, and the on-island management provided helpful services such as booking a trip to Barbuda during our stay.
