4 bedrooms in spacious luxury oceanfront home.
This is a private spacious residence with beautiful furnishings, swimming pool and soaking spa right on the ocean. We have a caretaker and a greeter who can make sure any issues that come up are quickly resolved. We want you to enjoy your stay, say nice things, and come back.
Guests staying at our home receive a 20% discount for most pre-paid dive packages offered from Dive Friends Bonaire at all eight locations.
The entire house is air conditioned with central air individual mini split Panasonic air conditioners and quiet ceiling fans. There are brand new Samsung smart TV's in the Master Bedroom and another one in the Living Room. Wifi is available throughout the house. There are two new Sherwood tuner/receivers which are B/T capable and will connect to your Apple music or Amazon music, or play your CD's upstairs and downstairs with Bose speakers inside and out.
Parking outside is easy with a wrap around driveway and room for 2+ cars or trucks off the road + 2 more along the road.
Upstairs there is a large private master suite with private covered porch overlooking the sea. There are three additional private bedrooms with separate private entrances from secure gated courtyard that also have doors to the side yard leading to the pool and ocean.
The 2nd bedrooms is also accessible from main living area and the main house.
There are two guest "safes" for valuables - one upstairs in the Master bedroom and the other downstairs between the 3rd & 4th bedrooms. The whole house is alarmed with "stay" and "away" functions and key pads throughout the house.
Two of the four bedrooms have twin beds which are usually pushed together for couples. We have extra twin sheets if you need to separate the beds. The Master bedroom has a California King (a European oversized bed) and the 4th bedroom has a US Queen size bed. The Master and 2nd bedroom have high quality Auping brand mattresses from the Netherlands.
We provide bath & beach towels & bed linens for a full house for a week. If you stay longer, our Laundry room has a larger American full size washer and separate electric dryer. There are three separate hot water heaters for the bedroom showers, laundry & kitchen. The master bathroom also has a large bathtub and separate shower stall.
The house is close enough to walk to two bar/restaurants, and two beaches located a few minutes walk away in the safe Belnam neighborhood. We split our week up between cooking at home, walking next door, and driving to various restaurants on the Bonaire.
The new large open kitchen includes high end appliances, with an induction electric cook top with a downdraft exhaust and a large separate ice maker. We have ample special cookware available for the induction cook top. There is a blender, toaster, coffee bean grinder, large and small french press coffee pots, a Mr. Coffee maker, and electric water boiler pot for tea or the French presses. There is also a dishwasher, large refrigerator and large freezer. We have plenty of plates, dishes, bowls and cutlery. There are detailed instructions in the house for operating the appliances.
Our swimming pool and soaking spa (not heated) is right outside off the patio just outside living area facing the ocean. There is no real real shallow part in the pool except on stairs - the rest of the pool is about 5' deep.
The veranda covered outdoor dining area has a ceiling fan. There is a new outdoor high-end propane gas BBQ. We have ample comfortable furnishings, inside & out. The dining and outdoor furniture and cushions were new this winter (2018).
Divers & snorkelers will love the equipment rinse sinks and private stairs down into the ocean. There is also a vented outdoor dive closet to secure your gear while it is drying and you are out. The house is right on the Windsock and North Belnam dive site. The reef is healthy and the fish life is abundant. Night diving here is a lot of fun.
You can watch the infrequent planes land at nearby Flamingo airport while looking out over Klein Bonaire and north towards Kralendijk & Republiek neighborhoods. The airport is not a very busy one. The sound of the flights landing is usually not as loud as the tide coming in and breaking again the rock ledge the property sits on. None of my guests have ever been disturbed by the planes - they are actually fun to watch approach from the west.
We are right next to the Bellafonte Hotel which is a very quiet and good neighbor. Overall the house is very comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with magnificent ocean and sunset views, an excellent cross breeze, modern amenities, and nice furniture. Please ask any questions you may have.

Beautiful Views and Modern
The house is very well situated close to the airport, grocery and great for short trips up and down the coast. The views are lovely from the deck and patio and a short walk down the stairs will take you to the ocean where you can easily snorkel and swim. The accommodations are very modern and the kitchen was well stocked with many appliances to make your stay easy (blender, cutting boards, good knives). My only critical feedback and it's minor is that we wished the beds were slightly more comfortable - they were acceptable, but after 5-6 nights we missed our own beds! During our stay there was construction next door usually from 7am to 3pm. The house was clean and well maintained with really no issues. Bassje was great to work with and met us at the airport for the 2 minute drive to the house - he showed us around and gave us great information to help make our stay great. Overall a great find and we will were very pleased!

AMAZING
Finding a family vacation site that is perfect for a family of 5 adults can be a challenge. But, Kasteel Bonaire is just that. It checked off all of our boxes and even ones we didn't know we had! Kasteel Bonaire is a gorgeous property and was absolutely perfect for us. Prior to arriving, Chris was very quick with his responses to my questions and super helpful with suggestions. Baasje met us at the airport, waited while we picked up our rental and led us to the house. He also directed us to the grocery store so we could stock up for the week. The views from the house were nothing short of stunning. The kitchen appliances are new and there were plenty of seasonings available. The diving right off the house was perfect. So much to explore! Something new each dive. The snorkeling was also impressive. We also visited the Donkey Sanctuary, salt pier, Cadushy Distillary and Flamingo Sanctuary. All a 20 min or less drive from Kasteel Bonaire. If you're a diver, be sure to make a trip to 1000 steps dive site. BEAUTIFUL!!! We went to Sebastian's for dinner our final night. The food and views were amazing! This house was absolutely perfect for what we wanted; relaxation, family and ocean time. Thank you Chris
