2 Bedroom, 1 & 1/2 Bath year round house in the scenic and classic New England town of Madison, CT on Long Island Sound. A 550 foot walk to private LI Sound Beach as shown in Photos. House is also located on the Western edge of Hammonasset Beach State Park. Our house, at 7 Pent Road, is on a very private, quiet, dead end lane, in a family neighborhood just off Webster Point Road. Madison is in the heart of the Connecticut 'Gold Coast', a series of small sea shore New England towns where Boating, Beaches, Swimming, and Restaurants are all in abundance. Day trips to Providence Rhode Island, Old Essex CT, Yale/New Haven and Mystic Aquarium are among the local venues. Contact owner for approval if you want to bring a pet over 40 pounds or have more than 1 pet, pet fee is per week per pet.
Directions To House: Directions to the house are:
Take I-95 to exit 62 (Hammonasset State park). Turn south towards Hammonasset Park, go about 1.2 miles to end which intersects with Rt 1 (Entrance to Hammonasset Park is straight ahead). Turn Right (West) onto Rt 1, go 0.6 miles and turn left (your first left on Rt 1) onto Liberty Street, and then immediately left again onto Webster Point Road. Go .3 miles and the road forks, bear left onto Pent Road, our house is 7 Pent Road, it is Blue, and on the left. It's just past the start of Pent Road.
To get to the Town of Madison; go back to Liberty Street, turn left; follow it out to the light where it merges with Rt 1. Follow Rt 1 (West) about 1 mile and you will go right into Madison which is very quaint - typically New England town (there is a Starbucks at the end of town on the right).

Lovely week
The house was accurately described. Very roomy and comfortable, steps to a delightfully private beach. Only complaints are. the upstairs bathroom could use more hooks for towels, and the beds were a little small for us. Wonderful restaurants nearby and an enjoyable visit to a winery. If you like yoga, there’s “True Bikram” a couple of miles away. All in all a very restful and peaceful week.
