5 Bedroom 3 1/2 Bath Home Located on Chipman Lake (AKA Tinmouth Pond) in Tinmouth Vermont. The home features spectacular lake front and mountain views from almost every room, on every floor, and even has a 4th floor tower room for a bird's eye view of the lake. In addition, this is one of the only waterfront rentals in the area that meets all of the new Vermont Short Term Rental fire safety, life safety, and health standards enacted for 2019. The home has 2 master suites and sleeps an additional 6 guests in the remaining three bedrooms. Guests can enjoy the well manicured landscape down to the lake, a rustic outdoor fireplace, a new 32 foot dock, and a finished game room in the basement, also with lake views.

Wonderful
We had 10 of us (8 adults and 2 kids) for a family vacation. We had such a terrific time . We kayaked , fished, cooked and just hung out. The house is right on Chipman lake. The house was well equipped, with everything you could possibly need. Our only complaint was the mattress’s in the guest bedrooms ( 2x twin room and queen room downstairs) were old and very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs. They definitely need to be replaced. Other than that , it was a perfect place and setting for our family. Thanks to Scott , Sam and family for sharing their wonderful home with us!

Absolutely beautiful
This property was so amazing from the attentive very nice owner to the interior of the home and its beautiful lake view and activities. Me and five grade school friends utilize HomeAway for a girls getaway every year and this home was by far the best one. Thanks for making our stay in Vermont so wonderful!

Lovely, Spacious and Comfortable Lake House
This is an abundantly spacious lake-house with beautiful views, and a wide variety of comfortable spaces (in and out) to relax / chat / visit with family....and enough space to enjoy some solitude with a view, too. This upscale lake-house is very well equipped and furnished - better than the photos suggest, and with more amenities than expected. We enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace in the living room one evening, as well as the outdoor lakeside fireplace with seating one brisk afternoon. The road around the lake to this house was a little bumpy (to be expected in the country/mountains/lake area), but well worth the few little bumps. Cell phone service is a little spotty...but with wifi and a land line at the house, it was not a problem. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with anything about this house. We were glad that we selected this wonderful house, and we had an enjoyable, memorable time here. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wishes to enjoy a truly lovely lakefront stay in Vermont.

Lakefront Relaxation
A great place to share with our kids and grandkids. Very comfortable and user-friendly. Loved the setup--porch with a great view, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, dock and kayaks, big dining table, grill, game room, laundry. We will come back.

Summer 2019
We had a great stay at Chimney Cove! The house was perfect for our extended family with plenty of space to spread out. Arrived on one of the hottest days of the summer, but cool and comfortable when we entered, a/c was just perfect! The house was as described and the location was remote but yet near to attractions to keep us occupied. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat on the lake, and granddaughter spent 90% of her time under water! Waterfront was a bit murky with vegetation for our liking, but still able to enjoy the lake on the hot days. Fun night around the outdoor fireplace with s’mores. Would love to visit in the fall and enjoy the beautiful countryside! Thanks

Great family vacation
The house was all we expected it to be, clean, updated , and plenty of room for our family of 8 adults and 3 children. Our Grandsons enjoyed the lake, kayaking, fishing and swimming. We had great weather and saw some beautiful sunsets. Overall it was a great place for a quiet family vacation .
