The design and décor of this beachfront villa is a stunning combination of Spanish Hacienda, Moorish Castle and Mediterranean style home. It is tasteful elegance throughout – creamy travertine floors, hand crafted wood furniture and four master suites each stunningly decorated in tile and stone, all with posh bathrooms, fine linens and private ocean-view balconies, three with walk-in closets and mini-refrigerators. The crowning royal suite has its own fireplace for that romantic glow. The great room features a natural gathering place for good friends and family, complete with gourmet kitchen, big screen TV, Sonos sound (indoors and out), computer system with wi-fi Internet and an abundance of comfortable built-in seating.
All four levels of this stunning property command breathtaking sea views. It is fewer than a dozen steps to the pristine beach embraced by the warmth of the Sea of Cortez . Gentle ocean breezes, breaching whales and surfing dolphins are your constant companions. You can swim in the sea if you like, or take a dip in the Jacuzzi that pours into the infinity pool. You can watch the sunset together from the spacious gazebo overlooking the beach and when at last darkness descends, the cozy fire-pit beckons with its luxurious built in seating, as the sky turns to a blanket of stars.
NOTE: We have added a new media room! 80' HDTV with 7.2 Stereo surround sound system, DISH TV, Apple TV and BlueRay. For your lounging comfort we also have 3 leather electric reclining rockers with USB ports and a large 133' couch which has a sofa bed (could be used as a bed #5 overflow). The Media Room also has an ensuite bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, in addition to A/C and two ceiling fans.
Upstairs from the new media room is a new gym. We currently have a treadmill, elliptical machine, rowing machine, recumbent bike, and free weights, along with TRX and other various mats and balls. There is also a TV with DVD, A/C, ceiling fans and mini fridge. There are no excuses now to not exercise while on vacation, unless you just don't want to.

Everything was Perfect!
Our family vacation was everything we had hoped for and more, thanks to our hosts, Judy and Mike. The photographs don't really do the home justice. Can you believe that? It is even more beautiful. The amenities are all first class and if whatever you need is not at your fingertips, our hosts will gladly provide for you. We were 6 adults and 2 children. Judy showed up to our door with pool toys, water wings, noodles, a baby pool, a pack N play and baby monitors! Blanca, the housekeeper provided us with fresh bath and beach towels daily and tidied up our rooms. I didn't think that we needed a maid, but it was certainly a luxury which I greatly appreciated. We just returned from a fabulous 6-day vacation at Castillo Escondido. Absolutely gorgeous covers it perfectly!! The home and setting is stunning. Mike and Judy were very helpful in assisting with anything we needed. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Our family can't begin to express our delight with Castillo Escondito! If you want quality family time, this is your best choice. The villa and grounds are much more stunning than the pictures. We visited with our two sons and daughter in law for 8 days. The property was immaculate and the very best of care is given with each little detail of your needs by Mike and Judy. They even are so adept at hospitality, they anticipated our needs! From dinners prepared by Hector and staff, to fishing and in town venues, each recommendation and reservation is made with pleasing you as a guest! The recommendations led to catching a striped marlin and rooster fish. I would whole-heartedly recommend the Villa and the staff. This is the PERFECT retreat for anyone wanting a personal relaxing and beautiful Cabo experience! A must experience for your family.

Magical. Look No Further!
Wow. Let me just say, it is my first day back home from Castillo Escondido and the post-vacation blues is lingering. When I think about having the privilege to stay at Castillo Escondido, I am nothing but speechless. The setting was as close to heaven on earth anyone can get. Mike and Judy made sure we had everything we needed and were MORE than accommodating. The housekeeper, Blanca could not have been any sweeter and helpful. We had an intimate group of 4 and every intention of doing excursions and exploring Cabo San Lucas. IMMEDIATELY, after we arrived to Castillo Escondido, it was a unanimous decision to stay at the villa for the entire duration of our trip. We wanted to soak in the absolute beauty and magic Castillo Escondido had to offer every precious vacation minute we had. Everything is at your fingertips at this incredible vacation spot. I will look no further when trying to book to Cabo. Mike and Judy, I cannot say thank you enough for everything and allowing us to have such an INCREDIBLE vacation that ultimately left us depressed to leave and think that it's over. Relaxing
Wow! I miss this place so much already! A stunning home to spend my vacation. I went with a couple of my friends and we were just amazed of how beautiful the home is. Waking up every morning to a beautiful view of the ocean. Each room faces the beach, who doesn't like that? And this place has a gym and movie theater! Crazy! My friends and I needed a little vacation to relax and this place satisfied our needs! I will DEFINITELY be staying at Castillo Escondido whenever I come down to Cabo!

Unbelievable! Even BETTER than the photos!
This property is luxurious, no detail has been overlooked! It's impeccably maintained and cleaned with above 5-star customer service and arrangements provided by Mike and Judy- on sight chef service, yoga sessions, massages, and grocery prestocking. Truly a trip of a lifetime! We can't wait to return and would not stay anywhere else. This property is perfectly laid out for families, couples, or a guy/girl friends get away! We saw the sunrise each morning. The beach was beautiful and not crowded, truly unforgettable!

The perfect house in the perfect setting
Mike and Judy have created something special at Castillo Escondido. We try to do a family vacation at a different place every year. We decided to forget about the different place requirement because we will be coming back to Castillo Escondido. The only thing that separates the beach from the house is a gorgeous pool, gazebo and fire pit. The house has four large private bedrooms and plenty of other amenities. Unlike a hotel or condo, it is totally private. Judy and Mike were perfect hosts. There to help when needed but letting you do your own thing when not needed. I played golf three times in six days at Puerto Los Cabos. A really fun course with several holes right on the water. Flora Farms is a can't miss restaurant 10 minutes away and Buzzards is a funky little restaurant with great food 2 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this property.

Stunning Inside and Out!
We just returned from a dream vacation at Castillo Escondido. From our initial contact to our last moments in Cabo, owners Judy and Mike accommodated our every wish and need so that we could truly unwind and relax and enjoy. The first week we were there with a group of friends celebrating a 50th birthday; the second week was just my husband and me. Both weeks were perfect! The pictures online don’t do justice to this immaculate, luxurious, yet comfortable property. The views of the Sea of Cortez from every room and level are breathtaking. Judy and Mike stocked the fridge (and wine fridge) before our arrival, arranged chefs to come and cook for us, made outside dinner reservations and golf tee times, and checked-in with us daily to ensure we had everything we wanted. If you are looking for the ultimate dream vacation, Castillo Escondido Cabo is for you!! We can’t wait to return!

Our best vacation
This is truly the best vacation we have taken! The staff and home were amazing!! We highly recommend this property and it’s staff, truly a five star in our eyes and we will be back in the near future!
