Welcome to the website of the 'Purple Palace' early 1800's Victorian home situated in picturesque Ellicottville, a charming town just 51 miles south of Buffalo, New York. Ellicottville was voted the Best Ski Resort Town between New England and the Rockies by Ski Magazine.
Location, Location, Location...This home is the closest rental property to the downtown four corners (Washington and Jefferson). It is the perfect place for your ski or golf vacation, seminar, retreat or quiet, romantic getaway.
Just a few steps to downtown and less than 1 mile to both Holiday Valley Ski and Golf resort and Holimont ski resort. This stately Victorian home is set amidst an enclave of mature trees. It has recently upgraded appliances along with Wi-Fi and AC throughout the home.
It is in a fabulous winter/summer resort town. After skiing all day, take a break and get to know the village's shops, many fine restaurants, and cultural centers. Relax on the deck and watch the cars go by or go for a short stroll and walk the streets of downtown Ellicottville. Enjoy having a pint at the 'Gin Mill', off to 'Tip's Up' for dinner and then of course go dancing the night away at 'Balloons'. Experience the charm and unhurried lifestyle of Ellicottville any time of year. The area is renowned for its hiking and there are many miles of mountain bike trails.
Guests that rent the Purple Palace have the main portion of the large Victorian home. Sleeping accommodations for 27 guests, full kitchen open to large dining area, 2 living rooms, games room with ping pong, big screen TV, large outdoor covered deck and 3 full and 2 half bathrooms. It is a lot of home to enjoy. If your group is larger than 27 guests please let me know and I can open it up to suit an additional 10 guests with the added 3rd floor loft at an additional cost (please inquire).

Perfect House and Location for Large Ski Group
This property was ideal for our large out of town ski trip. Our 20 attendees all had comfortable places to rest after long days of skiing. The large house was great for socialising, gaming (Ping Pong), and eating. Dave was wonderful with multiple messages and updates regarding our weekend rental. The walking distance to downtown was perfect for food

The Purple Palace offered everything our surprise weekend needed. Plenty of room for everyone. It’s a very short walk from town and shops. Your out the door and your there! Owners are wonderful and easy to talk to. If you have a larger group definitely check this palace out. You won’t be disappointed
