Hi, thank you for viewing this amazing home. The house is brand new as of February 2016. This is the most relaxing place to be. It’s located in Slidell, LA on Lake Pontchartrain. It’s 5 miles across the Hwy 11 bridge to New Orleans and is less than 30 minutes to the French Quarter, Super Dome, Jazz Fest and Essence Fest. The House is 35 miles to the Casinos along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Enjoy breathtaking sunsets into the lake while sitting on the outside porch or from inside of the house. The porch which wraps around the whole house that will give you shade and a pleasant breeze anytime of the day.
If you love fishing and crabbing, this is the place. Fish and crabs can be caught off the pier without a boat. Fish all day and night under the bright lights that shine on the water to attract fish. There is a boat launch a block away. Bring your own boat and jet skis. Fishing charters are available. Plus, as of this posting the boat launch was renting boats.
There is no problem finding a spot to sunbath. The grounds spaciously accommodate outdoor activities like volley ball, football and cabbage baseball.
Getting married? This is a beautiful location for a wedding reception and pictures. A perfect romantic wedding location. On the ground floor is 3800 sq. ft. of paved covered area for bar-b-q, parking cars or hanging out. We can cater your event too.
There are a total of 12 beds which are 5 king beds, 2 queen beds and 5 full beds. The house has four full baths and two ½ baths. The house has a complete kitchen, and a laundry room on each floor with a washer and dryer. We have high-speed wifi.
Towels, linens, soap, hair dryers, iron and ironing board are provided.
This large lot has parking for several cars. This is a great Home for Family Vacations and Getaways.
The house is close to many restaurants, groceries, shopping malls and more.
No Smoking. No Pets.
Early check-ins are available at $100 per each hour prior to 4:00 p.m.
Late check-outs are free if available.

This property is amazing! The owner allowed me and my wife to have our wedding here and the size of the property allowed for us to have our family and close friends stay with us. The owner was very easy to deal with and understanding. The property was gorgeous and all the amenities and necessities were there. There are many things on the property for entertainment for children as well as adults. Everything was thought of when building this property and I wish I could rent it once a month!!

Unbelievable!
Larry’s camp was the perfect place to host my boyfriend’s surprise 30th birthday weekend! We spent most of our time downstairs under the covered outdoor area and playing games in the yard. I highly recommend this camp!!

Great for larger family reunions -- beautiful view & lots of privacy and sleeping options
Our annual reunions of 19 people has ages ranging from 61 - 16, so many different definitions of desirable options. This house was voted as the best house we've had so far! We used the house lot yard and corn hole under the house outside, appreciated the high ceilings and quiet for those sleeping in, and of course, being right on the water gave the young ones options for fishing and crabbing. The bed compositions in the bedrooms offered many combinations. I would book this place again for sure!

LOVED the house! Would definitely visit AGAIN!!
The house is beautiful, even more than the pictures show. It was more than enough room for my 25 family members! The house was stocked with everything. Larry and his son were so helpful in making sure that we had everything that we needed. The first day we had some plumbing issues (city water), but they came out right away to fix it. The location is perfect if you’re looking for something for kids, but also close enough to New Orleans for adults. The children spent most of their time playing games in the area under the house. There is a Copeland’s 10 minutes away that was really good. Also, we loved NOLA Southern Grille. The food was delicious. We loved the house and we would definitely stay again. Already planning our next trip!

Four Generation Birthday Celebration!
Property was a great fit for our group of 12 for three nights! We had a wide range of ages. The outdoor space and proximity to New Orleans kept us very well entertained! We loved the ability fish night and day. I will say the outside area beneath the house was a little dirtier than expected and the winds and bugs were noticeable. That said, has much more to do with being in Louisiana on the water in the summer. Overall fantastic way to have city access while enjoying the space and “lake”.
