Only 3 miles to the French Quarter, and a 10 minute drive. The house has an open floor plan that makes it great for small groups. It has a washer/dryer, complete kitchen, T.V. and high speed internet. There are 3 bedrooms, two and 1/2 baths. The house has off street parking. The Mississippi river is down the street. Across the street is the St. Bernard Sheriff's Dept and Historical Jackson Barracks that has a museum inside. Also the Chalmette Battle Field where the Battle of New Orleans took place in 1812 is 2 miles down the road.

Beautiful Home

Great vacation rental
The home is beautiful and in a good location. The downstairs area is very open and we loved our stay. There were six of us staying for the weekend and we never felt crowded. The WiFi was strong and you need it since there is no cable. There is a digital antenna on the television. I always travel with a Roku stick and was able to watch my sports on the ESPN App on the Roku stick. Like I said before, the WiFi was strong. It is far enough away from downtown to feel safe and the area around the house looks safe. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to drive to Jackson Square. There is a small grocery store 1 block away.

New and near the French Quarter!
We had a party of 6 and this house was perfect for our long weekend getaway! Spacious bathrooms and rooms and a nice living and kitchen area. Description says 3 bathrooms but it’s truly 2.5 bath. Only about a 15 minute Uber to the French Quarter which was a definite plus. I pictured more of a neighborhood based on the description but all in all still pretty safe. Would recommend some black out curtains for the bedrooms - was super bright in the mornings - especially after a night of drinking. Owner was great about letting us check in early and check out late - that was a huge plus for us. Would definitely stay again!

Clean and spacious house
Beautiful home with WiFi. Very clean and not to far away from downtown New Orleans but just far enough away to where it felt like we were going home everyday. Spacious and comfortable beds. No issues would definitely rent again.

My first visit
Before my friends and i arrived Larry sent me a message letting me know that house has just been prepped and cleaned. When we arrived the house was immaculate. Everything about this house was like home. We were all very comfortable and the house was close to everything we had planned! We definitely are staying here again next year when we visit New Orleans! If you stay at this property i promise you won’t be disappointed!

Essence fest 2019
My family and I had a great time staying in this home, it was close enough to the activities, but far enough away to not be in all of the traffic. Close to shopping, quiet and safe neighborhood. Only suggestion, more towels and cooking utensils.

We Would Stay Again
The place was clean, nice, and well priced. It was not far from downtown. We wished there were more cooking supplies, but there are enough to be able to make small meals. We would stay again.
