Description
Cozy, updated 4 bedroom home on the water! Four queen-sized beds; 1 additional full sofa beds. Beautifully re-done kitchen with all new appliances. Separate wet bar on lower level with beverage center and ice maker in game room with gaming table and billiard/ping-pong table. Game room opens to den with 42' TV and sitting area by wood-burning fireplace. Walk out of lower level to large back yard for games. Three full baths - 2 with tiled showers and 1 with tiled shower/tub. Upstairs great room includes kitchen with island bar, dining area and living room with wood-burning fireplace. Also TV's in kitchen & all bedrooms. Three bedrooms on upper level, one on lower level plus sleeper sofas in den.
Lakefront property includes 150' shoreline with private dock and gazebo. Five-person Jacuzzi on lower patio. Chaise lounges, eating table and gas grill on upper deck. Perfect home for family getaways.
Great for couples or families - No Parties or Events! Minimum age - 30
Feedback from Past Renters: 1. Private boat ramp was big plus--little tykes could wade into the water to splash; big tykes could wade in, board their floaties and not spill their drinks. N.B. Most Lake Norman properties' shorelines are lined with large rocks, relegating swimming to jumping off the dock (which you may do on this property also).
2. Large, flat back yard was great for family participation in badminton, volleyball, croquet, boccee ball, etc.
3. Lots of activities available inside at night or on a rainy day: billiards, ping pong, gaming table, darts, TV, stereo, games.
4. Quiet cove location to watch ducks and mallards swim by, yet only 1/4 mile from open water.
5. Owner's attention to decorating detail and cleanliness of house were big plusses. Welcoming fresh flowers and chilled wine were thoughtful.
Near-By Amenities: 1. Array of restaurants from 3 to 7 miles away, including steak/seafood, sports bars/restaurants, sushi, Mexican and Chinese, as well as fast food outlets.
2. New, large, upscale grocery store 5 miles from house. ABC store 2 miles away.
3. Within 7 miles of house: Dick's Sports, WalMart, Walgreen's, CVC, Bed 'n Bath, Best Buy, Staples, Lowe's.
4. Within 2 miles of house: marina for pontoon boat and jet ski rentals; large passenger boat for lake cruises/tours.
5. Antique stores in old downtown area--about 9 miles away.

Cozy/Comfortable/Relaxing
This home was perfect for our family Thanksgiving holiday. The fireplace was enjoyed on the cold nights. The main floor is very Cozy, yet open floorplan allows for great flow of all activity. We enjoyed boating on two 70 degree plus days. Had great place to keep our boat docked and a nice fishing spot right off of the pier. Downstairs of house is a Game Room/Family enjoyment area that became a great hangout for kids and sports watching. House is well equipped with all you need to cook meals and it is well located for access to local stores and restaurants. Thanks to Fred Jones for sharing this place with us and we are planning to come back.

Excellent house!
House was extremely well stocked and had one of the prettiest swimming areas that we have had since renting on Lake Norman the past couple of years. The downstairs game room and tv area was perfect for a family with children. House was close to area restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay there again!

Great place to getaway with the family.
We recently stayed at the Lodge at Beaverdam Creek for 4 days with the family. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. The pictures show the home very accurately and the owner Fred was very easy to deal with. It had been raining a lot prior to our arrival and the grass was a bit high. We mentioned it to him and he took care of it right away. We rented a pontoon boat and he made sure we had space at the dock. The whole family truly enjoyed the downstairs level. Between the card table, pool table, darts and ping pong there was plenty to keep everyone occupied if we were not out on the water. The kitchen was very well equipped and the upper level deck was perfect spot for morning coffee. We would definitely keep this one as a favorite and would return in the future.

Cozy but lots of space -- perfect!
Our tennis team stayed at this house for three nights. Everyone loved it. We used the kitchen for breakfast and dinner. Played in the lake and used the ping-pong table. It was a perfect space for relaxing and unwinding after a day on the courts! Very comfortable, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, great layout.

Wonderful house on Lake Norman!
This is our second stay at this beautiful house. The owner recently upgraded the lower porch and we really enjoyed using it during the rainy part of our week in Terrell. The house is really special, great furniture and a terrific lawn. I highly reccommend it for a terrific family vacation.
