El Salto Log Compound is one of Premiere's largest properties sleeping 18 guests in 8 bedrooms (includes 2 lofts) and 6.5 bathrooms. The compound boasts 2 hot tubs, 3 kitchens, 3 living rooms, 2 large flat screen TV's and one standard flat screen TV.

The awesome design and architecture of El Salto the log home sends guests home with a most memorable vacation stay and a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience an authentic log home. The Guest Cabin (located next to El Salto Log Home) and Private Cabin (nestled by itself at bottom of tree protected drive) offer efficient separation for large groups wanting to stay "together" with a sense of privacy and togetherness all at once.

The guest house proximity to the log home makes it a perfect separation for children and teens to have their own space to watch big screen TV and play table games for day time and early evening recreation. Two hot tubs means most everyone who wants to soak will find hot tub space at any given time. The luxury of 3 kitchens means that separate families can separately prepare food and convene for group meals. A piano in in place as an added attraction for groups - there is always someone who plays the piano and always many who love to sing along with a piano player.

Rental Notes
RESERVATIONS: Are confirmed & property is taken off market when contract is completely filled in and received by Premiere. For reservations made more than 30 days from arrival, 50% deposit is due at time of booking. Balance is due 30 days before arrival (60 days Xmas/NY’s, Spring Break and reservations of 14 or more nights). Reservations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged to a Visa, Mastercard or Discover.

CHECK IN: Check-in is anytime after 4 pm. Check-out is no later than 10:00 am so housekeeping can be ready for next party arrival at 4:00 pm.

CANCELLATION POLICY: More than 30 days before arrival (60 days Xmas/NY's, Spring Break, and reservations of 14 or more nights) cancellation fee is 21% of total reservation. Less than 30 days before arrival, (60 days Xmas/NY's, Spring Break, and reservations of 14 or more nights) forfeiture of 100% of full reservation unless property is rebooked for entire stay at same rate. If booked for less, refund portion will be prorated (less the 21% cancellation fee). There are no refunds for late arrival or early departure.
Travel Insurance coverage provided by Travel Guard is optional. Please call Travel Guard for more information.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Each property has a private caretaker to assist guests with maintenance issues, lost keys, directions, etc. Guest is to contact caretaker for such issues. If there is an urgent matter and caretaker does not respond with 30 minutes guest should then call Premiere at.

DEPARTURE: Property is to be left in good order by following the printed guidelines in each home. Should the guidelines be missing common sense should rule. Should property be left in poor order please read 'SECURITY DEPOSIT' below.
GUEST POLICY: Should there be more overnight guests (including children) other than number disclosed in contract (other than prior approved visits) the party will be required to immediately vacate the premises without refund and full security deposit will be forfeited. If a large party gathers without prior disclosure to 'Premiere' the full security deposit shall be forfeited and party will immediately terminate.

SECURITY DEPOSIT PER DWELLING: Debit Cards will be pre-authorized for $525. Should damages or extra cleaning occur, my credit card will be charged $500.00 dollars plus a $25.00 dollar non-refundable service charge. Premiere Properties will send $500 to the homeowner along with my name, address, email and phone number. Prorated refund will be returned directly by Homeowner. Evidence of unauthorized pets or smoking in the house will result in forfeiture of full security deposit. (see direction sheet for partial explanation of possible damages) Premiere Properties will be held harmless and will not be involved in damage negotiations.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY: This property is privately owned & cared for. Premiere Properties is acting as Reservation Service only for the use of the subject property. For homes with hot tubs, I understand the risks of hot tub/Jacuzzi use, and recognize that for some people adverse reactions can occur, including but not limited to skin rash. Neither Premiere Properties, nor the Owner or their Agents will be held liable or responsible for personal injury, accidents, loss of life, valuables or personal property due to fire, theft, neglect, or any catastrophe or natural disaster which might occur at the above named property during the above stated time period. If this property becomes unavailable, due to unforeseen circumstances, I understand Premiere Properties will do all possible to move my party to an equal or upgraded option.
PAYMENT: All funds due within 30 days of arrival (60 days Christmas, New Year, Spring Break and reservations of 14 or more days). 50% deposit of total reservation due by check within 7 days of booking.

Beautiful view!

Beautiful view! Great feel to the cabins.

Great place

Great place for family get together! Our family of 17, ages 4 to 70 gathered from AZ, TX, KS; The location was great. Everyone kept busy between the hot tub, games, horse shoe contests, and local activities. It was also a great place to relax and read, and even in July it remained cool inside. The caretaker was also a great source of info and help.

A little piece of heaven. Thank you for a wonderful experience. From the moment of reservation the staff was more than welcoming. This beautiful home was nothing less than a piece of heaven in the middle of a gorgeous winter wonderland.

Amazing place! The most fun trip I have ever been on and it wasn't the snow condition that did that it was the house alone!

We had a great stay at the El Salto Log Home and two associated cabins. It's a great place for a family reunion; people can be together yet have their privacy. The property is clean and well maintained. The log home and the cabins were wonderful!

Fantastic place!

Fantastic place! This was a perfect set up for our large family reunion. We rented the entire compound for our group of 18 and it was great. The houses were comfortable and well-equipped--plenty of cooking supplies, towels, pillows, blankets, etc. It was kid-friendly, and the location is perfect with fantastic views. We walked the 1.5 miles to Arroyo Seco, a cute little town. And it's only a 15-minute drive from Taos. Wonderful, wonderful place. We hope to go back.

Perfect mountain getaway!

Perfect mountain getaway! The cabin was even more rustic and beautiful than the pictures show. It was an ideal location! We had half of our group wanting to ski and the other half more interested in local shopping, attractions and sightseeing. So the location in Arroyo Seco was perfect! The driveway is steep - if it has been snowing - you will need an all wheel drive as the description says. The sights from the great room are breathtaking! Hannah, the local contact person was friendly, prompt to respond and very helpful! We will definitely be returning!!!
