Beautiful escape

The cottage was the perfect weekend getaway. Set on a quaint and beautiful farm the cottage offered a comfortable stay. It was fully equipped with everything from wifi, to dvd/games and even snacks and fresh eggs/milk. Each room had nods to the sheep on the farm which created the perfect motif. We enjoyed a long walk around the property to the vineyards and were guided by the farms dog. I would definitely recommend and would stay again. There is a lot to do in the area, we even went to a polo match!

Beautiful area, lovely cottage, and amazing food for breakfast

Loved being able to see the animals on property. Great location, near many activities. We will definitely visit again. Great girls weekend, but would also be wonderful for a family.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed to attend a wedding nearby and had a delightful two night stay. The house itself is in a beautiful setting. Inside was everything we needed and more! Three comfy bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and relaxing shared space made our visit terrific. While we were so busy we couldn’t really enjoy it, there was a lovely deck with grill. Perfect for long or short stay!

Great family spot

Loved the breakfast, animals and quaint accommodations.

Wonderful getaway in a comfy cottage

Our family of four, including two adult daughters, thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at WeatherLee Farm. We enjoyed exploring and hiking at Harper's Ferry which is a short drive away. We also visited a few of the numerous wineries in the area. Pamela was very helpful with giving us ideas and directions. The cottage was very comfortable and we had a nice supply of muffins, eggs, sausage, fruit, juices, coffee and teas for our three breakfasts. We enjoyed walking the grounds and visiting with the animals. Her cat and dog were especially welcoming each time we returned to the farm. We loved the peaceful environment and would definitely recommend staying here!

Don't pass this one up!

This cottage is amazing...beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is well stocked. Everything was immaculate. The beds are comfortable. We asked the owner if we could have a fire in the fire pit outside and were able to purchase firewood at the local Weis market. The farm is lovely, and this is a perfect spot to unwind and forget life's stresses. It is also perfectly close to everything that you would want to do in the area. Seriously - don't pass this one up.

A cozy, friendly, well-stocked stay.

We enjoyed a perfect weekend in this cozy cottage. The cottage was clean and well-stocked with breakfast foods, and dog and cats welcomed us home from every walk or drive. Our toddler enjoyed the selection of kids books as well as the up close and personal visits with the horses, llamas, and sheep. The location is great as well, with plenty of options for dining and entertainment nearby. We'll definitely be back!

A slice of heaven!

We loved staying at Pamela’s cottage. It is so charming. The fridge was stocked upon our arrival. Woke up every morning to walk outside to endless butterflies, beautiful horses, sheep and llamas! Gorgeous grounds and beautiful area. I hope to return again and again.

Authentic Farm Stay for Young Family

We were looking to get out of the city with our kids, ages 3 1/2 and 16 months, for a long weekend. Weatherlea Farm turned out to be a perfect spot, with a small, cozy cottage, horses, sheep, llamas, cats and a dog to visit. We were welcome to walk all over the property, which we did often. The fridge was stocked with all possible breakfast grocery items. The farm is 6 minutes away from Brunswick, Md, and cute and funky town with direct access to the C&O Canal towpath, where we ran and biked. And also close to Harper’s Ferry historic sites. Pamela and her family were kind and friendly but we still had plenty of privacy to do our thing. Our preschooler is raving to his teachers about “the llama sheep farm”!

So peaceful

We needed to get away from the city for a weekend and chose this little cottage because of how cute it is and because of the other reviews we read about the animals on the property. We have a toddler who we knew would love to see the animals and walk around the property. We were not disappointed. Pamela and her family are delightful and the dog and cats are wonderful and friendly. We loved being greeted by them. The cottage was comfortable and well-stocked. We loved that some breakfast items were provided in the fridge. Such a nice and welcoming touch. We were very happy at the Shepherd’s Cottage and will definitely be back.
