Comfortable, welcoming and family friendly house in an ideal location in the centre of the charming village of Thorpeness, 2 miles from the shops, galleries and fine restaurants of Aldeburgh. On the doorstep of the Thorpeness Country Club with its tennis courts, it is a very short walk to the beach or to the Meare, where boats are for hire in the Summer months. Decorated in warm colours matching the seaside location, Brambletye comfortably sleeps 10 in 5 good-sized bedrooms spread over floors 2 and 3. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen with seating for 6 at breakfast and a dining room catering for 10. Adults have their own cosy sitting room with TV and fireplace at the front of the house while the children have a large playroom with TV adjoining the house at the rear. The enclosed garden has decking with an outdoor table and chairs for 8 and a grassed area with barbecue.

Fantastic house in a wonderful location
We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Brambletye for my mum's 70th birthday. The house was perfect for our needs (three generations) and in a fab location really close to the sea. The house is really beautiful and querky, the bedrooms spacious with really comfy beds, lovely bathroom, very well equipped kitchen, play room for the children (including great VHS collection which was much appreciated by young and old at 6.30am), and a beautiful sunny and contained garden. Pam was a great host and we had all the information we needed. We would love to come back another time.

Great situation
The ages of our extended family party ranged from 78 to 13 and we all really enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped in the quietest and most peaceful position and there was plenty of room for 9 of us, not to mention the dogs. Very convenient for beach, cliff and woodland walks. Thank you
