This is certainly the place for peace and quiet!! Penny made us most welcome for our 4 night stay. The property is very comfortable for 2 but would be OK for a young family of 4. It has everything you need (no dishwasher but that's fine for 2 people). There is a pub about a 1/4 of a mile away which we didn't visit to can't comment. More or less opposite the pub is an old mill which has been restored into a fascinating furniture and nice bits and pieces store which stretches for miles (well it's big anyway). The property is situated such that the coast and beautiful villages are about 30 miles away.
A beautiful cottage in an excellent location! Penny was so welcoming, with milk , fresh eggs and even warm flap jacks. We wanted a dog friendly, quiet break. We were not disappointed. So peaceful. Just a short walk to the common, not much further to the local pub, this had everything we could have hoped for. The cottage has everything you need, the garden is beautiful, and it is so tranquil. We will definitely be back! Thank you Penny and family.
