From this restful hideaway one can explore the many local footpaths and lanes on foot or visit nearby attractions by car or bicycle, from windmills, churches, nature reserves to steam attractions, sports venues and a wealth of local shops, pubs and eateries. HOSTLERS COTTAGE (1 bed sleeps 4)
Hostlers cottage is set within the cutilage of the listed farmhouse and so has been designed in a sympathetic manner, retaining original oak beams and with the introduction of new hand crafted solid oak joinery features, some from wood sourced on site. As a purpose built conversion of original farm buildings Hostlers has everything one would wish to find in a holiday home-from-home. As well as a well appointed kitchen area there is a separate utility area with washing machine and dish washer, and the bathroom has the pampering features of a drench shower and a whirlpool bath with oodles of piping hot water. There are TV's with DVD players in both lounge and bedroom, and a small enclosed garden with dog proof fencing and patio, table and chairs. Additionally there is a covered BBQ area adjoining the cottage, ample parking and uniquely a decking area set in the middle of one of the ponds where one can soak up the raise or watch the sunset with a gin and tonic to hand. The high-ceilinged open plan design gives the living area a spacious airy feel whilst at the same time there is a cosy comforting feel to this little gem of a country hideaway, ideal for romantic evenings for two away from the hubbub of modern life.
DROVERS COTTAGE (2 bed sleeps 6)
Being set within the same idyllically, peaceful environs as Hostlers cottage, Drovers cottage has also been designed in sympathy with the listed farm house near by, retaining oak beams and design features typical of the regions historic architecture. This cottage being a conversion from an original farm building specifically to supply the needs of the holiday maker, there is everything one could wish for to facilitate a restful, rural escape. The well appointed kitchen area includes fridge/freezer, range style oven, washing machine and dish washer. The traditional bathroom featuring roll top bath is in addition to the en-suite facilities to both bedroom's. The open plan layout of the kitchen and spacious dining and living areas gives an airy open feel whilst at the same time the wood burner encourages a snug, warm atmosphere. There are TVs with DVD players in both the lounge and bedroom's, and a generous enclosed garden with dog proof fencing and patio area with table and chairs.

Amazing holiday home
Such a lovely holiday. We enjoyed using this as a base to explore Suffolk and Norfolk but we also spent days relaxing. We were fortunate to have lovely weather so was able to enjoy the amazing views. Sara and Nigel were on hand if we had any issues or questions during our stay.
