This spacious bungalow is set in a beautiful woodland garden overlooking Wootton Creek and benefits from its own floating pontoon allowing access to The Solent 2 hours either side of high water. Arrangements can be made, upon advance request, for guests who would like to bring a boat, and/or personal watercraft.
The accommodation features a spacious kitchen & dining for 8. The comfortable lounge boasts beautiful views of the Creek. Guests can watch red squirrels, numerous wading birds, and wonderful sunsets from the large, raised deck overlooking the Creek. Ample car parking is available. The property is within walking distance of the local Yacht Club, pub, and The Isle of Wight Coast Path, making it an ideal base for outdoor acitivities. It is also within walking distance to the nearest bus stop. The Portsmouth/Isle of Wight car ferry is minutes away.
Ryde is the closest seaside town, being less than 10 minutes drive from the property. For those seeking historical places to visit, Carisbrooke Castle and Osborne House are also very close by. There is plenty for guests of all ages to enjoy!

Summer holiday
Our summer holiday at Bywater was relaxing with lovely sunny weather to boot. Chris the owner was very helpful, pleasant and unobtrusive. We arrived to a lovely welcome parcel which was much appreciated! The property is lovely and spacious, creating a relaxed air. We did inform Chris that the online images didn't do it justice ! Would definitely recommend.
