Description
Welcome to Ingleton! Relax by the pool. Fish or crab or picnic at the end of the pier. Do all three. Go biking. Go hiking. Go boating. Visit historic St. Michaels, Easton and Oxford. Watch the sunset from the Adirondack chairs at the water's edge. Eat. Shop. Play golf. Play yard games. Play board games. Play with the kids. Or do nothing at all.

Our newly built home on 2 ½ acres is the perfect spot for your next family vacation. Fabulous water views from nearly every room. Wake up, grab a cup of coffee, relax in bed and just gaze at the water. Or take your coffee outside and sit in the Adirondack chairs, or out on the pier, for a really close up view.
When you are ready to start the day, if you want to do more that just sit by the pool, take out the list of activities we’ll give you. Places to see, things to do, easy bike rides, challenging bike rides, shops to visit, restaurants to try. Your days will be full.
If you are not from the area, there are easy day trips to Annapolis, Washington, D.C., and the beautiful sandy beaches of Maryland and Delaware. But it may be hard to find the time because you can easily fill your week without going more than 15 minutes in any direction.
We have two bikes for your use. The terrain is flat and the biking is easy. If you have a boat, you can get to our pier by water up the Miles River, or by trailer to a boat launch about a mile or two from the house. We provide two double and three single kayaks. It's an easy kayak across the sheltered waters to an undeveloped island and beach directly behind the house. We installed a gas fire pit down by the water this fall!
Our house is perfect for one or two families. There are two master bedrooms with king beds and private baths. There are two more bedrooms (queen bed in one and twins in the other) with private baths. There is an upstairs family room that sleeps two (Great Views!) and a first floor den that sleeps two more. The dining room sits up to ten comfortably and the modern kitchen makes it easy to cook for a crowd (or heat up the leftovers from some of the area’s great restaurants).
We provide linens and towels. The kitchen is fully equipped. We welcome dogs as long as they are trained and babies even if they are not. We ask only that you treat our house as you would your own. It’s not just a rental; we use it all the time.

Beautiful for Family Getaway
We spent a long weekend in this beautiful waterfront home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is clean, spacious, airy and elegant -- but inviting and casual. We had three adult couples, and each enjoyed having their own private bath. The kitchen is well equipped and we had fun cooking a big dinner in one night. The views of the waterfront are gorgeous -- we enjoyed watching the sunsets each evening. The location is quiet and private, yet it's a quick drive to the charming towns of St. Michaels and Easton, which both have some memorable shops and restaurants. We'd love to return sometime!

Spectacular spot/home
Our family had an incredible stay at this home. The house itself was immaculate, comfortable, and importantly, had an A+ bay view. I felt far, far away from home, even though it took only an hour and a half to get there. The drive to both St. Michaels and Easton Is easy and I loved passing by older farms and fields, not to mention the view from a nearby drawbridge. The owners were responsive in every way and I was grateful to find a rental that is updated and a joy to be in. Also handy was the nearby Harris Teeter! I am already planning my next trip!

Fabulous!
Spent three nights with eight family and friends and two pups. The house was perfect for our bunch. Loved all the windows overlooking the water. Very comfy LR and BR furniture. We cooked the majority of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked and didn’t disappoint. Quiet and serene. Highly recommend. Owners very responsive.

Stress free Retreat
This was a wonderful home for a relaxing, multigenerational Family vacation. The pool, dock and kayaks kept us busy during the day while evenings were spent enjoying memorable sunsets. The lot was great for games and the neighborhood was perfect for bike rides The house had everything we needed!

40th & 2nd birthday celebration
Just had an incredible week celebrating my 40th and my son's 2nd birthday! The setting is beautiful and the outdoor activities were endless (pool, hammocks, kayaking, fishing/crabing, great yard for volleyball, etc.). We brought two waverunners and kept them tied to the pier all week without issue - water was generally calm being sheltered behind the island. The neighborhood boat ramp two lots north of the house made it easy to launch but putting them back on the trailer was a challenge, even at high tide. The house is very comfortable and well equipped; best stocked house we've ever rented. If you have young kids we felt the house was very safe for them as well as a high latch on the screened porch door prevented them from getting to the pool without an adult. We felt very welcomed in this beautiful home and I thank Minda and Steve very much for sharing a house that they truly love spending time in and caring for. We'll be back for sure!
