Description
This four bedroom log home is located on 26 wooded acres in Lyon County, Kentucky, a half mile from beautiful Barkley/Kentucky Lakes, one of the largest man-made lakes in the U.S.; with a launch for your boat, 1/2 to 3 miles from the cabin. There are four marinas in close proximity.
Rental boats are available including house boats. Boat, fish, ski, wake board, picnic, or enjoy lunch at waterside restaurants.
You can enjoy your own 5 acre lake on the property, stocked with bass, bluegill, and catfish, or just relax at the boat house or on the screened in porch. Available for your use is a canoe, small fishing boat with trolling motor, water bike, and swimming; all kid friendly.
'Paradise', whether '5' or '85'. Open field for other activities such as volley ball, baseball, or football. Use your imagination.

Amazing property
We had a great time. The cabin, lake, and property was even better than the pictures and the host made sure we had everything we needed to have a great trip. Beautiful private retreat and we will be back, and hopefully have a little better luck with the fish in the lake!

Fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, relaxing, canoeing and star gazing! This place has it all!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Our four granddaughters had a ball! They fished, swam, kayaked, canoed and paddle boarded. There is also a tree house to play in and a frog pond. There were plenty of games and Legos for the afternoon it rained. We relaxed on the screened in porch listening to the birds. It’s a short trip to Land between the Lakes. The kitchen was very well stocked. The owners were great to work with and you can tell they know what their visitors want. We brought a telescope with us and saw both Saturn with its rings and Jupiter with its moons. No one wanted to leave. Hopefully we will make it back again.

Parker Lake Lodge was perfect for my large and multi-aged family!
I love the outdoors and the classy Parker Lake Lodge was perfect. We did amazing mountain biking, fishing, swimming and private family hikes all around the forest and hills of the woods! Our entire family had something interesting and memorable to do ever day.

Exceeded all expectations
This place was truly amazing, the pictures do not do it justice. We stayed here with our 4 children who range in age from 1 to 11 and this place was perfect for everyone. We did not want to leave and we will definitely be back. We intended to go visit Kentucky lake but we just didn't want to leave because there were so many things to do at Parker lake, we swam, fished, walked the trails, relaxed on the screened porch, cooked out over the fire pit and cooked out on the grill, our kids enjoyed all of the board games and toys, they had baby gates for both sets of stairs which came in handy with our little ones. We enjoyed all of the animal mounts and hides that adorned the cabin, the washer and dryer and extra refrigerator came in handy as well. We absolutely loved our stay at Parker Lake!

Perfect Family Retreat to Nature
If you like the outdoors and nature, this property had it all. The lodge home was magnificent. It had everything you could want for a relaxing get-a-way. We enjoyed having our kids and grandkids for a week of taking in the beauty of this place. The best part was the lake with everything you could want to enjoy it, and we did! We fished, hiked, paddled around the lake and in general had a great time. We were fortunate to meet the owner when we arrived and by his easy going personality and love of the place, he set the tone for our stay.

Family Vacation
We absolutely love our stays at The Ultimate Getaway. We always think of going to see some of the sites around, however, there is so much to do here and everyone is so content that we don't leave. I believe this was our fourth stay here, and we are already planning next year's stay. The accommodations are wonderful, the home is so comfortable and there is so much to do on this 26 acres. I hate leaving and I'm always looking forward to our next stay.

Absolutely breathtaking!
The property was as advertised and more! My family (7 adults and 4 kids) could not have been more impressed. We came here to spend time together, relax and make some great memories. It exceeded our expectations on every level. Between the hiking, swimming, BBQ and just relaxing, it was perfect. We cannot wait to return. Great place for a family vacation!
Our family truly enjoyed our stay here. The lodge and surrounding lake and grounds are MORE than advertised. We really appreciated the private lake and use of the boats that the owners provided. We spent a lot of time on Parker Lake fishing and boating. Our 4 year old and 2 year old grandchildren had a fantastic time trying all the boats with us, and the rest of us enjoyed the privacy and relaxation that the lodge provided. All the reviews here I have read are accurate and describe the larger points so I want to point out other things that we appreciated: the great sleep we had on the quality mattresses on the bed; the well equipped kitchen with everything we needed to prepare meals; the space at the entrance to leave muddy shoes and wet towels; the grill and picnic area; the campfire spot; shade everywhere in the hot weather. My daugther-in-law said it was like staying with good friends, not just a vacation rental. We hope to be back as many times as possible.
