Classic coastal cottage has plenty of room for you and your family to come and enjoy Cedar Key! New furnishings, linens, TVs, etc. Freshly painted in HGTV's Coastal Cool collection, this cottage is super charming. Most decorations are locally sourced and provide a real taste of island living. We pride ourselves on our clean, clean, clean homes and this one is no exception. Enjoy Gulf breezes on the back screened porch. New washer dryer available for your use (bring your own detergent).
Walk to all of downtown historic district for restaurants (everyone loves Steamers!), shopping (our personal fave is the Cedar Key Country Store!) and activities like boating, kayaking and biking. Just one block from Shark Park, this home is kid friendly. People of all ages will appreciate that there are no stairs to navigate.

If number of people staying is found to be more than reserved, you will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be provided. Please do not book for less than the number of people who are actually sleeping at the property. This rental is offered for your personal use only, not for having large parties or houseguests. Please be courteous and book only for your personal use. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS IN THIS HOME.
CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds with less than 30 days notice. Full refund less 20% booking fee for cancellations with more than 30 days notice.

Lots of space and conveniently located
This house has wonderfully comfortable beds, a full space, and is conveniently located. It’s the perfect spot to stay in Cedar Key!

Don’t judge a book by its cover
We drove up after sundown and the outside of the house (the yard) looked questionable. The house was fantastic! Everything about the house is comfortable. The rooms were great with blackout shades and ceiling fans that are quiet! The beds and linens were lovely. The kitchen is well equipped. We were just in Ceder Key to explore the area with the family including my parents and teenaged boys. Everyone says to rent a golf cart but we love walking and this house is close to everything. My only big suggestion is that you stop at a grocery store before you come to town! There is only one small market in town. That said, the market served our purposes since we brought some food. We ate dinner at Steamers and it was terrific. All of our meals were delicious and the wait staff were really friendly! Lastly, stop by the visitor center! The woman that spoke with us was a wealth of knowledge!

Just got home from staying at Turtle Cove for the month of February and I miss it already.
The house had everything we needed and was clean, neat and nicely decorated. The owner and manager provided everything we asked for and more. The town of Cedar Key is delightful and the people friendly. Lots of fun things to do and great restaurants. Whether you stay for a couple days or a couple months I would highly recommend Turtle Cove.

We had a wonderful stay at such a cozy beach cottage. It was well located and well furnished with plenty of space. We would absolutely return!

Very relaxing vacation
The house is darling. You will have everything you need to cook or barbecue. The house is very clean, beds are very comfortable, great air conditioning with a great screened porch on the back to play cards. We had four adults and two children. The house is perfect for a family. You will be able to walk to most everything. We did rent a golf cart to drive around the island. The kids fished off the pier, went fishing on a charter boat, played at the playground nearby, visited the museums and went on a treasure hunt looking for Geos. I recommend going to the visitor center, they are very helpful. We drove an hour away to a bigger beach, which the kids loved. The beach is quiet and relaxing. We own a business and needed relaxation. Cedar Key is like the old Key West. A place lost in time, which makes it special. I recommend Duncan’s to eat. The locals are very sweet. There is a grocery store in walking distance. Sunsets are beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing
So far the most enjoyable place to stay. We were thrilled to be by ourselves but still have the convenience to be near by everything and everywhere we needed to be. We would highly recommend to anyone to stay in the rental home and enjoy Cedar Key, Florida.

We had the most wonderful time
Thank you for sharing your peace of heaven with us. We had the most wonderful time. There was plenty of space for the kids to spread out and even have a slumber party with a cousin. The towels were wonderful and we enjoyed the makeup removers....I will be buying some of those...very nice. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen for preparing food. All in all a lovely place to stay. Oh the outside covered area is so big, we were sad it was cold. We would love to come back and enjoy that area too.
