2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on a 5 Star, family friendly resort
We loved the family friendly nature of this resort and bought it because we love the lifestyle in Italy - and then added to it (the outdoor kitchen is a godsend!).
Set only 15 minutes from the airport in an undiscovered and very traditional area of Italy we fell in love with the area. The fact this property came with all the additional benefits of swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurants and even an on site shop meant it was perfect for our family. We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.
It is a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with large balcony and roof terrace (the same size as the internal area of the apartment and comes with an outdoor kitchen area so you don't have to leave it!).
We have furnished the apartment and the associated balcony and huge roof terrace to an exceptionally high standard and regularly use it as a family holiday home so it is a good apartment for any children whichever age they are.
How to get there? : Currently there are flights running from London Stanstead from March to October using Ryanair. They run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and are direct to Lamezia Airport. The flight is a touch under 3hrs long.
There are also flights from London Gatwick to Lamezia Airport using Monarch Airlines. These run from April until October every year. LaMezia airport is only 15 minutes drive from the apartment.
There are also indirect flights using a variety of airlines (most popular are BA, Easyjet and Ryanair) via Naples, Rome or Milan with a variety of different ways to continue the journey (I have always found Naples the best way and then the glorious train down the coast which pulls in a short journey from the apartment and drops you right outside the rental car offices).

There are a multitude of rental car companies just outside Lamezia Airport and Train Station (Lamezia Terme) or Naples if you choose to drive from there (a lovely drive) that are usually very helpful and not expensive. We generally use either Avis or EuropeCar as they seem the cheapest

Rental Notes
There is FREE wifi in the apartment for you to use - I use it while I am there for work purposes and it seems to work well and is of a decent speed.
Beach towels are also supplied free of charge.

Great apartment

Highly recommend this apartment. Just the right amount of space for 2 couples. Loved the rooftop and location; close to Pizzo and Tropea. Great welcome and no issues. Too cold for the beach and pool but both looked amazing. Thank you James. Hope to be back soon.

LOVED the roof terrace kitchen..
We stayed for two weeks and really enjoyed ourselves. The weather was beautiful and the apartment excellent. The roof terrace kitchen was a god send and evenings spent up there cooking on the barbecue (and cooker) a joy. Really enjoyed travelling out to local towns and markets as well - a really great base to set your travels from....
