Awesome Weekend

The location of the rental is in a perfect location and not directly off the main which was a huge plus especially having our dog with us. The rooms were larger than expected and there is game room with seating, hot tub, TV, and a pool table. The kitchen was great with a new gas stove and refrigerator and a large island with two deep sinks. Washer and dryer access was essential to be able to wash clothes over the duration. The brook out back has very clean spring fed water which was also key for keeping the dog cool during the hottest part of the day. Large backyard for the kids with a flower garden. The upgrades in the house are great but keeping the Colonial vibe throughout is a nice touch. The owner was very informative on the property and area.

Great house for large group

Wonderful setting, great amenities, really nice owner. Beautiful babbling brook with fire pit nearby. Pool table, jacuzzi and separate room for darts. The planned renovations to add a bathroom will make it even nicer. Does not currently have much of a dining room if large family wants to sit down together. The location is centrally located to get to hiking and also allows you to avoid traffic in North Conway!

Nice big house with plenty of space to spread out and have fun at the same time. Amazing!!

This house was a blast for my buddies, some of their family members, and I to enjoy. The hot tub was a hit, and so was the pool table! The layout is cool and allows people to be spaced out if they want or hang out with each other. Really enjoyed the bedrooms all having an A/C unit too (although we didn't use them all that often). The kitchen is really nice but doesn't have a ton of cookware (couldn't find a large pan anywhere among some other things) but we made do. Love the new additions and those that are being done (the bar area, the upstairs bathroom that is being added) which will all contribute to making the house even better. The bathrooms could definitely use some bath mats. Overall a great house with a great vibe that is perfect for entertaining a larger group!!

Beautiful and charming!

We had an absolutely amazing time! Took my staff here for two nights at the beginning of September. The weather was perfect and the house has something for everyone!! They are doing some work to the house to add two additional bathrooms (which is very much needed when traveling with a group of 13). Big kitchen, beautiful yard, fire pit, two large living room areas, hot tub, pool table! Scott was a great host and we look forward to making it a yearly trip to the Pumpkin Hollow House!

Awesome stay! Beautiful home. Would recommend

The stay was great. Plenty of amenities to keep you entertained. Wish we would have had more time to stay and enjoy.

Perfect for multiple families wanting to stay together

Each year my friends and I get the kids together to visit Santa's Village for their Halloween-themed events. We love staying together, so we can all hang out when the kids go to bed vs staying in separate hotel rooms and sitting with our respective spouses in the dark while our children are sleeping. Pumpkin Hollow is great! My son (soon to be six at the end of the year) noticed the adorable pumpkin decorations and just went wild over them. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the three families that were staying. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of dishware (the cabinets underneath the island also revealed even more, so there were plenty to use without having to start the dishwasher each night) and the oh so important coffeemaker (they had your standard 12 cup drip machine and the Keurig, which no one in our party used but I'm sure other renters might enjoy). There are two master bedrooms (one king with bunk beds and attached to another bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a full-sized bed...could have been a queen, but I'm not sure; and a queen bed) on the second floor and on the first floor, there is a king sized bed with a bathroom across the hall. On the second floor there is also a common bathroom and another bedroom with a twin and full-sized bed. We had 3 families in our party (6 parents and 4 kids all of whom are under the age of 6). We didn't use all the bedrooms or bathrooms, but nice to know we could relegate a snoring spouse elsewhere =) The place is very large, so the parents who were staying up and playing pool or darts were not disturbing anyone who went to bed. We only stayed two nights and had a fairly tight schedule, so we didn't get to explore too much of the grounds (there is a fire pit, which would have been nice to utilize...there is a sheet in the check-in book that you take to the general store called Patches to get the fire permit). The little brook was a lovely scene during breakfast in the kitchen. The place is very clean. My family and I have rented at other places before and I always need to take an allergy pill, because as clean as those places can appear, it's always dusty. This was definitely not the case. We will definitely stay again or another place that Scott owns in the area. Thank you!

Charming and Cozy

Looking at the pictures, i thought the house was more on the small side. When I got there, it blew my expectations. It has a very nice log cabin feel to it. The house was big and roomy while still feel warm and cozy, more than enough to accommodate 13 of us. The Jacuzzi was super relaxing. The bedding was pretty comfy, slept well throughout the night. All the stores and restaurants are within a few minutes drive. Overall, It was a nice weekend getaway with close friends and family and i would definitely book it again.

Amazing

This house was great. Loved all the living spaces. The main living room, the hot tub room and the bar were awesome. Will definitely be wanting to return for another stay.

Perfect for a large group!

We used this property for a family get together. We had 10 adults staying here, with diverse interests, and this property was perfect for that! There were more than enough bedrooms, the kitchen was just the right size for us. We could all fit in the living room or game room, or split up between them if we wanted to do different things. The bar area is a nice bonus. We actually hooked up an Xbox up to the T.V. in the bar area and that was perfect for gaming. The only negative is that you have to drive ~3 miles away to dispose of your garbage and there did not appear to be any way to recycle anything, so we brought our recyclables home with us. However, other than that, this is a really great place for large groups.

Great for extended family

We visited for a long weekend in very cold Jan. weather as a group of 15 including grandparents, parents, and kids with/without their own kids. A big plus is the number of bedroom situations for the individual couples. There will even be another one when the loft is finished. The pool table, hot tub and fire pit were all a big hit. We even tried sledding in the back yard which provided some silly fun. The location is excellent whether or not you ski -- it's easy to drive up to Jackson and Pinkham Notch or down to N. Conway. Scott attended quickly to a couple of glitches that were not his fault. Hope to return.

lots of charm, great location

interesting old farm house with lots of charm and in a great location with easy access to ski areas and restautants

Cozy getaway for our tired hikers

We enjoyed a great sleep at Pumpkin Hollow. The kitchen had everything I needed to feed my crew a big breakfast. The seats by the stream in the back yard are perfect for morning coffee. Great for a group. Thank you!!

Spacious

The house was very big and offered multiple places to sit and relax. The brook in the backyard was the highlight for my young children.
