Wonderful Place
This is the 2nd year that our group of 12 have stayed at the property. It is well maintained and spacious for the activities we plan. We visit in the winter so it is a nice base to use to go skiing or snowshoeing in the local parks or outside the front door to the lake. Lovely living room with wood stove to relax in the evening. This is a wonderful quiet getaway.
Couples weekend was a real treat
What a comfortable relaxing spot for a fall getaway. Four couples spent the weekend together...... Great walks around the lake, kitchen with the basic condiments and all essentials, lots of fires both inside and out. Owner was very responsive. Very clean with gorgeous rustic furnishings. The paddle boat is fun. Beachside lounge is superb. We will definitely return.
Family Vacation
This property was everything it said it was and more. We had 8 adults and 5 children and had plenty of room, not just for sleeping but eating and relaxing as well. Many nice extras - the beach area with bunkhouse and lawn chairs, fire pit, etc. were great. The kids loved the beach, the sunfish would swim up to them whenever they got in the water. They also had lots of fun fishing off the dock and catching sunnies one after another. Being close to the bike trail was also a nice plus. There's a very nice plaground at the end of the trail in Danbury. The ladies enjoyed a spa day at the Casino in Hinckley and the kids went to a movie one of the rainy days. All in all, it was a great vacation and I would definitely return and recomment it to family or friends.

Our week at this cabin was great! Descriptions and photos are accurate. We hung out down by the dock most every day after taking a walk around the lake. My expectations on the fishing were low based on the size of the lake however we caught panfish, nice sized bass, a 3 lb northern and a 23 inch walleye and we caught something every time we paddle around the lake. The beauty of it was we just used the paddleboat or canoe and no one else was on the lake. We saw one other boat on the lake the whole week we were there. We would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone wanting a nice peaceful place to relax.

Family Vacation
We didn't want to leave after a week at the cabin! The beautiful beach area was the highlight. Impressed with all the "extras" that are included - lawn chairs, life jackets and unlimited supply of firewood for the bonfires were great for our group of 10 (6 adults and 4 children). The house was everything we needed and well maintained. Loved having our entire group around the large table for evening meals. If you want to get out and explore there are plenty of day trips to be had from the area.

Wonderful Family reunion from Colorado to Ohio
This was the perfect spot for our families to meet up to just be able to spend time together and relax. This is a nice piece of paradise. We had so much fun in the lake, campfires, games and just relaxing. Had everything we needed. We give it a 10/10!! Hope to return someday. Thanks George!
Wonderful!
Wonderful cabin on a very peaceful and quiet lake! Great place for a large group. Conveniently located only a few minutes away from a grocery store and casino! We hope to visit again!

Relaxing Family Stay
Large, relaxing family cabin with many water toys. Many rooms and lots of sleeping space. Secluded and a great view of the lake from the deck.

Very welcoming
Owner was wonderful, very accommodating. The bunk house with the covered lounging area was really nice! It made it easy to watch the little people as they fished from the dock catching little sunnies and while they playing in the water. Also enjoyed the 3 canoes and paddle boats, the Danbury playground, the ice cream shop, assortment of games/puzzles, bike paths, and the fur post was great. And next to no Mosquitos!!

Fantastic cabin
We spent 6 days there with family from Minnesota. We had a total of 6 adults and 4 children. The cabin is spectacular, period! It was clean, more than big enough and has that real classic "cabin" look while being modern. The finishes and moldings are very well done. The pictures, although nice, do not do it justice. The owner really takes great care in having the property completely ready for your arrival. Fresh linens, towels, and stocked bathrooms make it so that you can start enjoying the place as soon as you unpack. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking. gas bbq, etc. The paddle boat was used several times a day. To just walk on it and paddle out to the middle of the lake at any time was so cool. The kids just loved it! The private little beach was a lot of fun and the lake is crystal clear. I cannot say enough about this place. We had a great time and would absolutely rent it again!!

Great vacation on Round Lake
Our extended family had a great vacation at George's lake home. The lake was crystal clear with a sand bottom. Everyone enjoyed the paddle boat and canoes. Because there is not a public landing it is a quiet lake, we caught sunnies, northern, and a bass. The cabin kitchen, dining and upper living are larger than they appear in the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked, dining table large enough for a big group for games. Living area great for views and playing games supplied in the cabin. Lots of beds between the bedrooms , the inside bunk beds, and the large bunkhouse by the lake. The covered deck by the lake was a favorite gathering spot. One thing very appreciated was the large supply of deck chairs on the deck and by the lake, nice and not cheap plastic. Also plenty of wood for a bonfire. The location works good for biking the Gandy trail, nearby casino, and kayaking from the rental shop in Danbury. Plenty of restaurants, favorites were the outside pizza place in Webster, Yellow Lake Lodge, and the coffee shop in Webster. We would highly recommend renting this home, it worked very well for our large group ages 13 to 81!

The first thing Dave and I said was "I could live here."
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The lake was clean. It was mostly quiet with only a few boats. The kids enjoyed swimming. The little ones had plenty of area that was shallow. The older kids used the paddleboat and canoes. There are life jackets of different sizes provided. The kids loved feeding the fish off the dock, Lots of loons calling. The bunkhouse near the water has a nice pavilion with picnic tables and chairs. The older kids loved having their own sleeping space. We had 12 grandkids with us and seven adults. There was wood for a campfire near the lake. So peaceful. The house is spacious with an open floor plan. Plenty of shade trees for a woodsy feel. There were tables and chairs on the deck. The kitchen was wonderful with no shortage of pots and pans and a large refrigerator. Can't say enough good things, Great place for making memories.

Wonderful place to stay!
My family and I were in search of a nice place to start having a new family tradition as our family continues to grow. This is a large property with lots of space, and was a very quiet and peaceful area! This is definitely a cabin we would come back to!
