Beautifully presented self-catering farmhouse overlooks the stunning Gran Sasso mountain range. This villa has been meticulously renovated providing luxury accommodation for all age groups including the disabled. The upstairs accommodation is centred around a large landing with 5 spacious bedrooms (all with air con) and ensuite bathrooms. Downstairs there is a 6th bedroom/rec room with a disabled facility shower room. There is a cosy 'snug' with a wood burner stove which opens onto a terrace that leads to the 13.5 metre pool (open May to end of October) with diving board nestling into the olive grove. The 45 foot Maiella stone kitchen is sympathetically furnished in old pine and opens onto a long veranda with views across a beautiful terrace to the mountains.

A Special Place
I fell in love with Casa Mimosa and as many have said, the photos cannot capture the beauty and magic of the property. It is in a remote section of the Teramo/Abruzzo and there are rolling hills and the magestic mountains in the back drop. you will definitely need a car to explore and to get around. the home is also quite special and is packed with a feeling that makes you settle in. among my special times were our dinner times at the patio table where conversations lasted for hours and the pool night we had will; but there were so many special moments of the land being healing and transformative. the first week there were multiple families and a total of 11 people and it was still spacious. the second week we were 4 and it felt cozy. the grounds keeper and his wife came daily in the morning. it was wonderful to have them cook some of the meals especially upon our arrival. I did travel to Cinque Terra which was quite beautiful , but the time at Casa Mimosa made my time in Italy wonderful. Thank you Jane and Sophie for have created this beautiful and healing place.

Family getaway after Rome
Unparralleled views. Quiet rural area, wildflowers, walks, trips to beach and Lanciano. Fun cooking together and the traditional BBQ was delicious!

Luxurious relaxed paradise
We absolutely loved the Villa, the views were spectacular and the Villa had everything we could possibly need. The only couple of problems we could find were the seal on the oven was broken and the ice making part of the freezer did not work but other than that, pretty perfect!
