balconies in the main house. A 5th bedroom, bath and living area are found in the casita (guest house). Choose to lounge around the fresh water pool or immerse yourself in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. The shallow reefs in front of the villa are home to some of the best marine life surrounding the island. Choose to snorkel or dive right: Oceanfront, 4 bedroom with private baths, guest house with 5th bedroom, freshwater pool, excellent snorkeling and shore diving directly in front of villa, walking distance to Chankanaab National Park.
We had such a great time. The house is nice and big and offered plenty of room for the 9 of us. The Beach is incredible and even though there was some issue with the City water they took great care to have water delivered to ensure we had what we needed. Would highly recommend!! Laurel was so nice and helpful. We really enjoyed her!!
Best vacation ever! We live in the New England area of the U.S. and were ready to get out of the cold weather. We took our family, seven adults and had room to spare. It was wonderful to get up in the morning and sit on the roof to watch the sun rise or the pool and read a book. They have a pretty descent little library in the house in case you forget your book . The beds were comfortable and each room has it's own private bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked, even a blender for Daiquiris or Frozen Margaritas and an electric juicer. We used the grill by the pool a few times and it worked well.
The location is central to everything, walking distance to The Money Bar and Tortugas both are great places to eat. The food is reasonably priced so we ate out quite a bit.
We especially enjoyed snorkeling right in front of the Villa. We saw so many species of fish. Take your water shoes, the beach is a bit rocky but full of sea creatures and shells. The dive boats will come pick you up right on the beach.
The trip to the Windward side was a great day trip. You can rent a van like we did or take a tour. We went to San Gervasio, the Mayan temple of fertility and had a very knowledgeable tour guide then we stopped to eat and lay on a beach and watch the big waves come in. We were too late to see the lighthouse, lots of things close at 5.
We intend to go back soon.
